Hornvein: Caution V
Brodin knocked on the door of the Mayor's Officer, "Mayor Atticus." He called, "I'm here for our payment."
He decided to head to receive the payment and asked for directions to the Mayor's Office, which was in a building on the north side of the town. He walked inside the clean and quiet building and made himself down the hallway to the large red door.
He stepped back and straightened up, still unsettled by his new discovery; the people of Hornvein were Corrupted. He deduced that Michael discovered this fact and was nearly caught. What he believed was that Michael, instead of reporting this to the Darklight Sect, decided to look further into this and find the source of the corruption and possibly exorcise the town himself.
He wasn't sure if it was a bright idea for a single sorcerer to do this without help but Lunaris mentioned that he was quite capable. However, Michael must've overreached considering he asked for backup.
