Story Two Demon's Love Chapter 1 Growing Darkness

I was forced to be with Milo the knight for the whole day in a jar, but to me, he is just a Sack of Meat. I know that he liked Rose, but her fate had been sealed after drinking that Potion. I know what it was and how cold she was about to become. But I never knew how easily it was breaking with her falling in love with him. She had been affected by the position for a day and it seemed to be changing her in a short amount of time. The rose on her wrist was at the halfway mark, but why would I care if she turned heartless? When she gets up to get dressed, she kicked us both out of her room. What else am I going to do, talk to this human for who knows how long?

The hall was covered with paintings of her family and some of the guards were gone drinking. I thought it was strange for a kingdom to have a lack of guards. So, we walked around for an hour or so till Rose came out of her room. She was dressed in a light blue dress and headed toward us with a cold smile.

"So, we are heading for the stables," she smiled as she walked by. I normally don't follow humans unless I'm on the job, but she was more happy than normal. The potion should have taken away all her emotions, but it seems like there was something still there. Guessing that Gaia would need to know about this, but I was going to have to do that later. I don't want Milo or her to know about the plan they had. I was a normal demon was what I was called, but it didn't seem right to me. If I break the contract would be sent back to hell for the rest of my life unless I made another contract. It would curse the user to go to hell when they die, but unless we both break the rules.

So, we just walked through the paintings and some tables with vases of flowers in them. It didn't take very long for us to reach outside and in the moonlight. I saw that there were guards outside, but what about the inside, someone could kill her with no problem. Torches were lit and it seemed like no one knew that I was there on the ground. Looking up to see Milo had an upset look at Rose. She acted much differently towards her men and even towards Milo himself. Honestly, didn't like this new queen more than the one from before. Her mother was with the same curse, and it seemed to kill her over time. What would happen to Rose, will she end the same fate as her mother? She didn't have the signs of her skin becoming a corpse with white or blue lips like her mother. The poison seemed to kill what feelings in their life and body, but would it be the same with her?

If she was on her deathbed and watching the world come crashing down as the light faded. She would not have a child to take her role or even get rid of the ones she loves. Should her life be broken with this matter of darkness or help her become the same person once again? I never thought about this before. She was fine before being cursed because of her lover having lust for another woman and greed for power. We took her life away and made her feel alone in her heart.

But we still walked towards the stable doors made from dark oak. I could tell this was where she would have been happy and to be looking forward to something in her life. It was not an item but it seemed to be an emotion of some kind, but it slowly turn to hate as we got closer to a white horse. The hooves were covered with long white hair and her eyes were a bright blue.

"Hey, Snow," Rose said in a cold voice, but the horse was just happy to see her. It must have been days since the last time she has gotten to see her master. Stomping feet on the ground to get her attention about something in a bag. Rose grab what was inside the bag and tried to give it to the horse. It was an apple; it didn't look very good as it had brown and black spots. The horse picked it up and dropped it on the ground with displeasure.

Rose was not pleased with her horse Snow's choice to drop the bad apple on the ground. But it ended with her grabbing the blanket she was wearing on the ground in front of her. All she did was smile.

"You get to sleep with no blanket and no food for a week," Rose said coldly to the horse as she was about to leave. Milo stopped her in her tracks.

"You shouldn't treat your horse like that!" he growled at her, but she pushed him to the side to reach the courtyard.

"You can have her then," she answers, "she useless to me anyways."

"What?" he questioned

"I don't want her," she answered again, "If you want I could have her killed."

"But…" he spoke softly, "You had her since you were little."

"She is nothing but an animal to me" she answered as I finally saw the potion take place in her life. Becoming a cold ruler over time to anyone in her life. I have never seen her this angry as she stomped past and stepped on my tail. I could have yelped or screamed in pain, but it was a sign of weakness. Many demons are known for their pride in holding back pain, but this is different. I had not been back in hell for what seemed like years to me without the feeling of the burning heat. Demonkind used to be a part of the human world, but it died with the sins in our hearts. We were sent to hell by the high heavens with the devil and the seven sin guards in the middle of the fourth ring of hell. The first was meant for the lost souls to wander in pain. The Second was to torture sinners who had killed innocent people. Third and fourth walls for the worst sinners and demons to live in peace with one another. I knew this as I was blamed for a crime I did not commit, but in the end, it seemed like I belong in that darkness

The thought of her falling into a dark place like hell did not fit with me. I heard that she was kind to people and made them happy with her smile. She was like me at her age and tried to fight her way out. Her eyes showed sorrow as her soul was showing all sorts of hate towards anyone. But this Milo kid was upset about what was happening to her and not knowing the full story as well. If he saw the mark of a rose on her wrist as I knew he would blame it on me.

Looking up to the armored boy with a frown as he gave the horse grain from a bag nearby. Wondering if I should help the boy save the girl or just let the fate of the mark continue.
