Sudden Exam

The next subject Aku's class is Metabiology at the practice room of the biological room. Inside the room have tons of pictures and articles pasted on the wall of the Human, Wereman, Devil, and Demon anatomy.

The teacher for this class is teacher Herbert, he is already an old man but his degree is high.

In recent years degrees isn't mattered much after the arrival of TOG for the Users. But, for normal people degree is everything.

They all have races to get to be the first person to have a degree from the academy after finishing high school.

At the academy, normal people will do it and that makes Aku's mind wander out of his body.

He is thinking about his future self. He has become a User, but unlike other Users, his system is passive. He could only wait and train hard if he wants to become a hunter as his future job.

But his grandparent doesn't like the hunter as a job. Hunter wouldn't have time at home because they're busy inside the tower.

Many hunters forgot the time when they go inside the tower, they felt they were only inside the tower for a day but outside a week has passed by.

It's very mysterious and many people wonder about it. But if they have become a User one day they'll still go inside the tower.

Because Hunter is the highest-paid job all over the world. If successful, hunter and hunter's family could become rich. But, high pay must have high risk too in a job.

The risk they have is death. There are lots and tons of traps, and monsters inside the tower.

If one hunter could overcome it, they'll be successful but if they can't then they will get PTSD or death.

"Hey Aku!"

when he is thinking about his future, Chloe called him. He knows and realizes Chloe is beside him but to think he goes into focus once again and didn't realize Chloe has called him, he still needs to practice more.

"What?"

With his eyes, Aku questioned Chloe. instead of crying and being scared by the glare, Chloe got angrier.

"What's wrong with you, you are the one asking me for my story but you didn't even hear what I am saying right? RIGHT?"

She raises her hand, the target is Aku's cheek. She pinch his cheek with both hands as strong as she could pinch, Aku couldn't feel the pinch because of the difference in Power Value between them.

Aku currently have 110 Power Value, normal people could only have one until nine Power Value.

When a person becomes a User, their Power Value launches up to ten. But currently, he could see Chloe Power Value above her head.

For non User, they couldn't hide their power Value, because the function to hide their Power Value is only used in the system.

And normal people are also slower to increase their Power Value. The Users could try to finish their mission to get points and make themselves stronger, training also increases but it is the same as normal people in terms of progress.

Some Users that used to do athletics or an athlete still train in their time. But for other Users, Users use that time to do their mission instead of training their bodies.

They only do training when they get a new skill from the system mission rewards. Other than that, the mission becomes the first thing they do.

"Is this cheeks the one arrogant, huh!"

While pinching his cheek, she didn't forget to moke him, or is it his cheek the one she mokes at.

"I'm sowwy, it's hurt please stop pinch my cheek"

Aku pretending to be hurt by her pinch. Even though he doesn't feel anything. He only wants her to stop because it's embarrassing.

The place she pinches him at is the school hallway, many students are looking in their direction. Right now is the time of students 10 minutes break to change class before next subject, and that makes many students see her pinching his cheek could be watched by of them.

"Geez, what is wrong with you today Aku? please be more serious"

"Yes"

He could only agree with what she said, if he counter back then it will be longer.

"In the first place, you're the one who wants to know about my situation about last week right? I have already opened the story to you but you didn't hear any of it"

She is currently smiling, but her smile isn't the same as her pretty smile. He could see an Asura type of monster behind those smiles.

"BEND YOUR KNEE!"

"YES"

He does what she wanted him to do. with the remaining 8 minutes break, her nonstop talking and lecturing him about the negative of not hearing her story.

He could only kneel and heard her lecture. The Bell has rung, it is a sign of the next class is starting. She was still in the middle lecturing him but he cut her lecture with the reason of the time.

"It is the chimes, Let's go to the classes, Chloe"

"What?, I am still not done talking to you!"

He couldn't take her hand and drag her to the class, it will make her hand hurt by him. Instead, he use his hands to push her back from behind.

Even while he pushing her, she continues to lecture him. In his mind, he will remember this incident and wouldn't do it anymore because the experience is bad.

They've arrived at the next Subject Class, Teacher Herbert is still on the way to the classroom, it is good that they are not late to class.

In the Biology practice room, Chloe goes into silent mode. She isn't saying anything even though he is sitting beside her.

"Hey Chloe, why are you ignoring me?"

Even if he has asked about it but she still ignored him. So he tries to call her with many nicknames

"Hey Chloe"

"World to Chloe"

"Super Chloe"

"Commander Chloe"

"Captain Chloe"

"Secretary Chloe"

"Boss Chloe"

"Chloe Super Sa-"

"Stop it, what?"

Only at the most important thing does she reply to his calls. If she didn't stop him, he doesn't know what will happen.

"Please tell me, Chloe, Did I do something wrong?"

"Well, What Do you think?"

"..."

When she replied like that, he couldn't continue to ask her. He glances at the door of the room.

"I'm sorry if I do something wrong"

Chloe didn't answer back to his apologies, He didn't know that Chloe is very sensitive for some reason.

In the past, there are times like this too, when she is very sensitive to the topic but he didn't think much about that.

"I think I will skip this class, I got a stomachache so I need to do my stuff."

She still doesn't reply to him back. so he stands up.

"I am counting on your notes, I will borrow your notes for me to copy"

After saying that he walked out outside the room with his hand on his stomach.

"ah"

Only when Aku is already outside the room does Chloe turn back to Aku direction and reply

"Are you okay?"

She whisper the concern word, so Aku couldn't be heard what Chloe has said, he walks to the bathroom without glancing back at her.

She raised her hand wanted to ask and stop Aku, she is still angry at him but at the same time, after she heard Aku's stomachache, she was concerned about him.

Her hand stopped midair because she heard a voice coming from her left side.

"What's happening with you and your husband? did you two have a married couple fight?"

"Who is my husband, I don't have one and we're not married yet too"

"Yet, huh"

Chloe only realizes her words because of the new coming voice from the person she knows very well, the person that has come to her side is Chacha, one of her childhood friends.

"Shut up, and why are you even doing come to me?"

"Nothing, as a childhood friend I am only concerned about my friend love life"

Chloe couldn't reply to her tease, she knows her childhood friend is currently joking with her.

"oh and also I heard something bad for your husband from the class president"

"I have already said that he is not my husband, what is the bad thing?

"Teacher Herbert will do a sudden exam today, The class president is currently helping him to bring the exam paper."

"I don't need to care to him about that, even if I didn't know something he knows it even before I do. He is the sole person that makes my rank decrease to rank two."

Chacha couldn't talk back when she heard CChloe'swords, but she has concerned with her childhood friend that she knows is in love right now, she could only say what she wants to say.

"But he said that he will skip this class right? isn't that bad because Teacher Herbert is known by the students as the student's killer."

Chloe looked at her childhood friend, with a face of concern about her health. The words she has said are indeed different from Chloe's mind.

"Are you alright with your head?"

"Hey, don't joke with me. That teacher is known by that nickname because if a student didn't get to his exam even with a sick reason he will fail the person subject classes."

"What? are you telling me the truth right now?"

"Well, that was the rumors said, I could only hear the winds about it from other classes."

After hearing the words from her childhood friend, she could only be thinking about her new friend Aku. If he didn't back before the teacher finished the exam then he will fail the class.

Chloe stand up and try to follow Aku but when she get out of the room, she met teacher Herbert has already come with the class president, in his hands is full of paperwork.

"Good day students, On this beautiful day, I will let you have an Exam. It is a good thing to try it while you students are still in first years."

Chloe couldn't get out of the room because the teacher has already come. She goes back to her seats, a concerned look could be seen on her face.

She tries to inform the class situation to Aku, but she remembers Aku currently didn't have the board. She could only inform him with a different thing, an email.

With a fast finger, he operate the board and sent an email to Aku's smartphone while hoping he opened the message that she left.

Inside the classroom, the sudden exam has started but there is no sign Aku is coming.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Aku is washing his hands after doing his business. Today it is a little bit hard and big so he needs more time than usual.

He checks out his smartphone to see the message Chloe has sent 50 minutes ago.

"wait a minute, what is this teacher doing!"

With a fast pace, he runs to the biology practice room and hopes the exam isn't finished yet.
