Going to the Capital

She smiled and said, "Please come with me I will lead you to meet Manager Gong, he will be leading your test." After walking a while they walked into a room with an old man wearing a red cloak. Wang Lin in his previous world had similar cloaks, representing levels, Wang Lin thought to himself "Hmmm, it seems both our worlds possess the same way of representing an array master's level."

The servant walked up to the old man and whispered into his ear. The old man looked in surprise at Wang Lin and said: "You are Wang Lin, the cripple, and now she is saying you are an array master at the age of 10, my name is Manager Gong, and I will test your skill today."

Manager Gong and Wang Lin walked into a room with array suppression runes around and Manager Gong spoke: "Show me your array energy." Wang Lin was even more surprised, "This world also has array energy? Then why doesn't cultivation exist if array energy exists in both our worlds?"

But on the other spectrum when Manager Gong saw that a 10-year-old was a gray-cloak array master "You are a Grey-Cloak Master, your so young how is this possible."

Wang Lin received a Gray cloak from Manager Gong officially making him an Array Master of the guild. Manager Gong sent the Wang Lin's file to the main Array Master Guild in the capital city. After a while Manager, Gong received a message back and he asked Wang Lin "Do you want to travel to the capital to see the Array Master Main Guild, there are many opportunities there."

Wang Lin wanted to travel to the capital city, Wang City before he was going to use some money to travel there and find a secluded place to cultivate, after reaching higher realm take revenge for the previous Wang Lin then find a way back to his own universe. Since he was going to the capital anyways why not go to the Array Master Guild as well. Thinking this Wang Lin nodded his head. Manager Gong looked ecstatic about this and said "We had a couple other array masters going to the capital today, go with them. They will come in around 30mins, we will go at that time."

Wang Lin waited for 30 minutes until a couple of men and women wearing white and grey robes walked in the building. Manager Gong walked out of his office and greeted them "Hello, everyone thanks you for coming, we are going to set out to the capital in an array powered carriage and it will take around 8 days to get to the capital. I think everyone here knows everyone else but we have a new grey cloak array master. This is Wang Lin he just today signed up with the Array Master Guild."

The people looked over and saw a familiar face, one of the white cloaks gasped "Is that Wang Lin, the cripple?"

The other people also recognized Wang Lin and were confused how this kid, who is a nationally recognized joke for the Wang Clan be a Grey Cloak Array Master. Manager Gong didn't want Wang Lin to get angry at their comments and said: "Let us get to the carriages and start as quickly as possible."

Wang Lin and the others climbed into the carriages as their journey to the capital started.

In the Wang Clan located at the capital of the Wang Dynasty, Wang City, a middle-aged man with 3 younger men sat at a table. The middle-aged man was the Wang Clan Chief, Wang Fan, and the other 3 men were Wang Lin's brothers, Wang Yong, Wang Jun, and Wang Min.

Wang Yong was the first to speak "Father, we have heard what happened at the Wang Clan Branch #2." Hearing about that incident Wang Fan clenched his teeth and said: "We don't talk about him..."

Wang Jun was the next to speak "Father, we said that when we thought he was going to die, but he didn't die, not only has he survived but he seems to be able to have gained some sort of power."

Wang Min was the last to speak, and he spoke with a furious tone "I TOLD YOU ALL... he is our brother and you talk like he is some sort of devil to this house. Father, he is your son, cripple or not, how could you have abstained your vote... you could have saved him. He will come back and not as family but as an enemy, but guess you guys will do the same thing you do to all enemies, kill them until they are not a problem."

Chief Fan couldn't take his son being so insubordinate and slapped Wang Min "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK UP TO ME LIKE THAT. You will all wait for the next clan meeting and we will decide what to do then."

Everyone went silent and no one spoke a word for a while.
