Cloud Demon Beast
Going down the side of the mountain together with the rabbit demon beast, Xuan Hao didn't end up encountering anything dangerous like he had first expected and managed to reach the location where the mountain met the sea of clouds.
However, instead of plunging directly into the clouds that was blocking his view, Xuan Hao came to a stop a dozen meters away from the clouds and began carefully examining them for any traces of the strange creature that he had seen swallow up a rather unlucky demon beast only a few minutes earlier.
Although the chance of encountering the strange creature hidden inside the sea of clouds should be far lower by sticking to the side of the mountain where he would be harder to spot, there would always be a chance that he was unlucky and ended up running into the strange creature the moment he tried passing through the clouds.
