The pain in Christ's stomach had completely disappeared. But now it has been replaced by a very, very hungry feeling.
Yep. For now, Christ feels hungry. In the past few days, Christ has not eaten the energy of the human soul, because he continues to chase the mysterious amber-haired girl. And now, she is saving him from punishment.
A vicious predator saved by its prey? Truly a ridiculous situation according to Christ.
Then should Christ thank his prey? Of course, that is not possible.
Try to imagine how to be Christ's position now. When you're hungry and see a morsel of food right next to you.
But when you want to touch the delicious food to eat it, a strange feeling arises called comfort. Where the feeling of comfort trumps hunger. Of course, a situation like this makes you very tormented right?
Confusing. That's how Christ feels right now. He was stuck feeling comfortable and hungry. And Christ really hates conditions like this.
And does he really have to keep in touch with Liza to divert his hunger? That's not possible! Christ did not want to depend on his prey.
So don't expect Christ to thank Liza, while she has to be tormented by his dilemma.
"Christ?"
Liza called Christ's name so softly. Her one hand rise up about to touch Christ's arm. Which suddenly made Christ gasp from his confusion.
Avoid Liza from touching him, Christ immediately got up and took a few steps away from the girl.
Liza thought Christ was offended because he called her name presumptuously. But that wasn't the case until Christ said.
"To hell with this! I can't take it anymore! I'm really hungry now!" growled Christ in a hoarse voice.
Like a predator ready to pounce, Christ stared intently at Liza, showing a bright red glint in her irises that made Liza's whole body shudder. Liza was confused about the changed behavior in Christ.
"What do you mean? Hungry?" Liza instead approached the man.
Until it reaches three steps, then Liza's doubts arise. Just as he felt Christ's immense killing intent. Feels really tight. Even Liza could see the crystal of light on Christ's chest turning dim. Like being shrouded in darkness. That's when Liza realized that she was in danger.
"W-what do you want?" This time Liza took a step back. Her face paled. The tremors in her body could no longer be contained.
Meanwhile, Christ is getting closer to Liza. With his hands pointing forward, ready to strangle Liza's neck.
To hell with his curiosity about Liza. To hell with that Demon King's ban. All Christ needed was to eat a large amount of human soul energy.
The food was in front of him, and Christ had no choice but to eat the prey. Before Christ went crazy and out of control, he was forced to do this.
SRET!
The first thing Christ did, was to quickly grab the necklace around Liza's neck. Then throw it in any direction.
"No! My necklace!" Liza screamed hysterically.
And sure enough. As soon as the necklace was removed, Liza's soul energy was immediately visible to Christ's eyes. Very large. Very tempting. It certainly triggers the hunger from Christ's stomach. His saliva dripped. Along with its elongated canines.
'I just have to kill without touching her, so that the comfortable feeling doesn't affect my hunger and make me hesitate to kill her!' Christ thought.
Just as Christ was preparing to cast magic from his hands, Liza was already anticipating opening the apartment door. Unfortunately, it's locked. Liza doesn't know the password.
BRAK BRAK!
"Please! Please open it!" Liza screamed for help while banging on the door.
"Miss? What happened?" Jeremy answered from outside.
"Do not enter!!" Christ rebuked loudly. One hand threw a fire magic shot that almost scorched Liza--if she didn't dodge.
Bwooosshh! Bwoooshh!
Liza kept dodging Christ's magic attacks until she was in front of the window outside the apartment. Seeing a canopy tent not far from there, Liza took the initiative to jump and land on the tent.
But before Liza jumped, she had time to recite the magic portal opening spell magic, hoping that one or two wild Jin could be summoned to distract Christ from chasing him.
"Otkroyte vorota!"
And it turns out that not only one wild Jin came. Count to five, and there are still more who are about to come out through the magical portal.
"Oops!" With great courage, Liza finally managed to jump and land safely.
"Damn it! That girl ran away!" growled Christ.

After all the strange events that had just happened to her, Liza chose to go as far as possible. Liza certainly doesn't want to risk her life by returning to her apartment. At least for now.
Walking up to the city limits, Liza chose to step into the forest area. Out of nowhere, Liza was pretty sure that the forest was the safest place to hide. Christ probably wouldn't have thought that Liza would go into the forest.
"Hah... Hah... Hah..." Liza's breath hitched after running around. "Looks like this has gone far enough. I hope he doesn't chase me all the way here."
And here is Liza now. Right in the middle of a dense pine forest. The only sound was the rustling of the leaves from the wind and the snow. And Liza can faintly hear the howl of the wolf. Liza gets goosebumps even more.
Awoooooo!
"Oh my... Don't tell me that I came out of the lion's den, but instead entered the wolf's den ..." Liza panicked.
There was a slight regret as to why Liza had fled to the forest. Moreover, Liza only brought the body. No weapons. There was only a magic book in his hand.
"Grrr!"
And sure enough. A large black wolf appeared, growling in hunger.
Instead of running, Liza's body froze in fear. Then her hands and feet moved as if to bully the wolf. But the animal is not afraid and is getting closer to Liza, ready to pounce.
"No, leave me alone!!" Liza shouted as she closed her eyes tightly and hugged herself.
In the second when Liza surrendered to her life, that's when another flash of light appeared right in front of Liza. The flash of light then formed the silhouette of a human spirit. What turned out to be ...
"Raul?"
Raul appeared just in time before the wolf pounced on Liza.
The wolf that originally wanted to pounce on Liza immediately ran back and forth seeing the appearance of Raul's spirit, which resembled a wandering ghost.
"Wait. How did you get here? I didn't call you, did I?" confused Liza.
Raul turned and smiled. "I heard a report from a green-eyed spirit witch who happens to live in the astral dimension not far from where you opened the magical portal earlier. So I immediately came and crossed here through the magical gate that you opened. Confirming that the human who opened the portal was you. And it turned out to be true. Then I followed you all the way here."
Liza smiled happily. "Thank God I finally got to see you again! I have a lot to ask you. Especially about that crazy guy who tried to kill me for food. Do you know who he is? Why is he after me? Was he Adera's enemy in the past?"
Raul took a deep breath. Trying to remember the look on the man's face he had met when he came out through the magical portal earlier. Then he shook his head.
"Sorry... But for that matter, I don't know either, Sis. I never knew that Sis Adera had enemies. And I didn't know that man at all."
Liza's facial expression reflexively turned disappointed.
"But ... You might be able to ask our Grandfather all this. Maybe Grandpa knows who that man is and what his aim is to hunt you down. He may know something about it. And hopefully, he will also know why you were brought back to life," explain Raul.
Hearing that, Liza immediately smiled again. "Where can I find grandfather?"
"All the purple-eyed spirit witch's families live in the astral dimension in the forest area of Innsbruck city. So you have to go there and open the magical portal there," Raul explained.
From Raul's explanation, Liza came to understand that in order attract a certain spirit, she had to open a magical gate (magical portal) where the spirits lived.
"But there's one thing about grandpa..."
Liza frowned. "What?"
Raul took a deep breath. "Hopefully grandfather can be spoken to and wants to meet with you. Because since he died and his spirit lives in the astral dimension, he has become quiet and angry. He chose to live alone, even though he is still in the same area with our family."
Liza smiled as she gently touched Raul's transparent shoulder.
"I'll try to persuade him then."
This time it was Raul's forehead that frowned. "You can't go to the astral dimension unless you're dead, because you're--"
"Can you teach me how to get the human spirit to go to the astral dimension?" cut Liza.
Realizing the meaning of Liza's question, Raul spontaneously turned around. "Don't tell me you want to do astral projection? That's too risky, Sis! Your spirit will have a hard time returning if you stay in the astral dimension for too long. You could really die!"
Liza shook her head. "It won't be long. We can arrange the time. And besides, I also want to hide from that madman for a while."
Liza then held up her magic book. "I was reading this and came across some martial arts moves and spells magic. Your grandfather would understand this, right?"
Raul smiled. "Yes. He is a great sorcerer."
"Good. Maybe I can learn a lot from him!" Liza said happily.
