He didn't do well with threats and this dragon was threatening him.
His words struck a nerve in Valerion's cold heart at the thought that his mate could not hesitate to hurt him but then again, this man wasn't a dragon and he felt nothing.
Valerion's hatred for humans burned, particularly for the one that was standing before him.
