Chapter thirty-three

"Get up!"

"What? Why?"

"Lix, Heeseung and Yeonjun. I can hear them talking. At most, we have one and a half minutes and you should wash your face. Sorry." Jisung says, reddening. Minho licked his face as far as his tongue could reach.

"Don't be," he answers, a smirk creeping on his face, while getting up, still hugging Jisung. "Why are you taking me with you?"

"So I can put bandages on your wound," Minho answers while putting Jisung down on the counter, kissing his thigh once more before turning on the tap to wash his face.

"There's no wound left though?"

"Wouldn't it be weird if I was looking out for you but didn't even put some bandage on a bleeding wound?"

Minho doesn't know about Heeseung or Soobin, of course. And definitely not about Lix. So he doesn't know that they and Yeonjun know about me either. How could I not think about that...

Minho dries his face with a towel and looks up at Jisung. "And your shorts lie here. I thought you'd prefer for them not to see your thigh-hickeys?" The redness on Jisung's face extended all over his ears and he jumped off the counter and put on his shorts hastily. Minho smiled at the sight of this and walked back to the room itself to open one of the drawers.

He chose a pair of shorts and a tank top which he'd use when he went to the gym but were also perfect as pyjamas.  After putting on his clothes he sat down on one of the beds and started reading in one of the books he took with him.

Jisung ran back in and lay down under the covers of the other bed pretending to try and fall asleep, just when the front door opened. They heard the entering of the three boys and soon after followed a knock on their bedroom door.

Minho stood up and walked over to the door. "Hey, Felix," says he.

"Hey, Minho," Felix says, "I was wondering how Ji's doing since he hasn't called or texted at all."

"Sure. He's in his bed," Minho answers, turning around and resuming reading the book in his hand while walking towards and sitting down on his bed.

Felix drags the chair from the table next to Jisung's bed and sits down after turning it, so his chest rests on the backrest.

"Hi, Lixie, dear," Jisung says while sitting upright in bed, smiling, and getting a 'hey' back.

"How are you feeling Jisung?" I tried to contact you but the bond seemed blocked. Why?

"I'm great. Resting. My leg really wasn't that hurt." That's possible. I said I was tired. I guess I shut you out without knowing.

"Did you guys get some ice?" It's really smelling like you here. Did you throw up? Are you really sure you're okay?

"Nah, a bit of bandage did the job." No, I just peed, I didn't barf.

"Oh, okay, thank goddess." You could've said you were okay and shut me out after.

"Yeah, no worries. I'm alright." Ahwie, Look at you all worried and caring. Okay, Lix. I'm sorry. I'll make sure you're well-informed next time. Anything to keep you pleased.

"That's good. We didn't do much after you left, just so you know." Ji, what the fuck? Don't be that sweet and easy-going.

"No, it's ok. I hope you've all had fun. I'm sorry for ruining it and or worrying you, Lixie." I'm not? I'm serious. I really care about how you feel, Lix. You being pleased pleases me too.

"No no, not at all don't worry." Ooooookay great to hear that, Ji. Did you take any kind of painkillers or anything? You're freaking me out.

"Okay, I'm happy to hear that." I really do love you so much, Lixie. Always did.

"Guess Imma leave then. I just came to check in on my bestie" Ji, did you take any kind of painkillers or something?

"Your call." No. Why?

"Oh, and don't forget about tomorrow's activities" You're talking like that time those kids made you take drugs with them and you were high for way too long.

"What's tomorrow?" No, I'm not :( I'm sorry if I made you upset :( I'll buy you some ice cream to make up for it :(

"Some team building activities. So I wouldn't wear those tight shorts of yours you packed." okAY, Imma go before your behaviour gets even weirder.

"'kay 'kay. Bye Lixie!" Bye lixie!!

"bye" mhm..

Felix nods Minho goodbye and leaves, soon after that the front door's hear.  Minho looks at Jisung who smiles back at him. In fact, he never stopped smiling.

"That was a peculiar conversation," Minho says.

"Oh, was it?"

"Y'all had weird, long, awkward pauses. And the conversation itself was awkward too."

"Hmmm, I don't know. That's possible I guess."

"Ji? How are you feeling?"

"Amazing! Why?"

"Because you're still acting like you're high. And that smile plastered on your face doesn't really help."

"You know? This room really smells a lot like me."

"What?"

"And so do you."

"Oh...

Okay?"

"I don't think it's a good idea for you to be alone with any of my friends," Jisung says while getting up from his bed.

"What why?"

"I already told you. You smell like me. Too much to keep it a secret," The younger one answers while sitting down next to Minho's bed, tailors sitting.

"How's that? I don't smell anything," Minho questions while sitting upright.

"They will."

"Why would they?"

"Because your scent is now mixed with mine. I'm pretty sure they can put two and two together if you're alone with them but smell just like me."

"And is that a problem?"

"What?" Jisung was not sure what the look on Minho's face meant, but he could feel something snap within the male.

"I mean, is it that bad if they'd know about us, Sung?"

"I just don't want them to know for now. I'm still figuring things out," answers he, while caressing Minho's leg.

"I don't think my smell would change anything in that matter, though. Is it because of that whole marking thing?"

"Mhm."

"Well I've seen my friends alone since then and they never thought I smelled different."

"That's because they can't sense that scent."

It takes Minho a second to get what the boy, who was kneeling down in front of him while touching his leg, was indicating.
