Freya didn't waste time. She went to find Zander who was in his study looking through the scrolls. Zander noticed her presence at the door and cued her to get inside as he kept the scroll away.
Freya apologized to her father with a deep bow, "I wasn't sensible. Please forgive me for my recklessness, Father. I will be careful not to repeat the same thing." She was truly remorseful for her actions.
Zander's tensed shoulder slackened, his tight brows relaxed looking at his younger daughter. In the hopes of making Freya strong to protect herself and her sister in their absence, they had trained her to cultivate her powers. With her interest in wars, Freya became strong and brave.
But they forgot protecting wasn't just self-defense from an attack but slyness, trickery, and schemes.
