Creator Of The Highest Peaks: Unique Path to Transcendence!

"As I look behind me, I see worlds on the brink of destruction, destruction that you caused, all because of the suffering you’ve endured.” “The only word that I can use to describe it, is pathetic. That word alone truly describes the nature of all those living under my foot, and even now, they claw onto hope, and struggle desperately to survive." "Hah.” “But even if I am a being that has witnessed death many times, yet I still cannot fathom the raw emotion that comes after, that alone proves that I cannot escape my true nature.” “I cannot fathom that a near-omnipotent being such as I would feel so hopeless in front of you. I didn’t expect I would meet such a fate.” "All because you are a calamity that couldn’t have been stopped.” “..Because of one feeble human.. a pitiful, lonely insignificant human, one who’s born of one of the most lowly species in the universe, fate itself has been undone, and those who have been named as “wicked” will suffer.” “It was long known to me long ago that your existence itself was a threat, but I had a eerie feeling that I could not stop what was about to happen, not in a million, or even a billion years.”

The Warning of A Major Incoming Change

Thomas went as fast as he could to the instructor's room, hoping that it was not yet to late for Nathan, or else who knows how they'd react.

He knew that with each passing second, the pit in his stomach grew bigger, as his fears grew even worse, and the expression on his face turned into one that displayed anxiousness and even a little bit of fear.

He had finally entered the instructor's room after going down two floors and slammed open the door, showing how much he was in a rush to speak to the instructor, while panting and gasping for air.

"Sir!"

"Thomas..!?"

The instructor was caught off guard, but he quickly snapped out of it and wondered why Thomas would be so careless, which was unlike his usual self. He judged that it must have been something serious.

"What is it?"

"Sir, Nathan's body.. it's in a weird state! You need to come see!" Thomas said, his fears had taken root in his heart, and he was extremely worried that it might become a reality.

"Hm..? Then, let me have a look."

They then went to Aiden, Scarlett and Nathan's room, only to discover that Nathan's body had undergone a major change, to the point where he was near unrecognisable.

His physical condition was at its peak, his face was extremely handsome and smooth, all past injuries were completely healed, he also had a strange mark on the center of his head that was glowing, yet he was still not awake.

Also, a strange golden energy surrounded his body, enveloping it and causing his veins to glow slightly.

Many others went to go see what was going on in the time that Thomas had left the room, and even they couldn't comprehend how much his body changed.

"This energy.. his inner core energies leaking out of his body!"

"Isn't that dangerous? His entire body could burst!"

"Shit.. I didn't think it would be this bad.. he needs to rest inside a Cryo Chamber for a few days so that the turbulent energies inside his body calm down."

The instructor, with the help of a few others, swiftly carried Nathan out of the bed so that he could get to an infirmary, and the rest of the students remaining left the inn to go explore this new world.

"Hm. Scarlett, what happened to him?" The red-haired female from earlier asked, "I knew he was strange, but not this.."

"I'm not even sure myself.. but, he's someone interesting alright.. the fact that his consciousness contained a rift to the Sea of Chaos might mean that he's hiding so much more than I thought."

"His consciousness was hiding a rift to the Sea of Chaos.. wouldn't that mean that his very existence is a threat?"

"If you didn't give me a heads-up about him, I would've never have known that he was hiding such a massive secret."

"Heh, now I really wanna fight him and see for myself how special he truly is," The male that had black hair with blue streaks said out of excitement, "I can tell that he holds something very special, but I'm not sure what it is exactly."

"Hm, if that's the case, I wonder if he's hiding any more secrets from the rest of us. Who knows, he might actually be the one I'm looking for."

Thomas, Athena and Luna were very worried about Nathan, while Dean and even Aiden were concerned about him.

"We need to stop worrying about him, since that'll just make us feel even worse, so how about we just look around, then after he wakes up, everyone can go back to normal?" Thomas suggested, although his mood was affected by very recent events, he decided that he would look towards the more positive side of things.

"Yeah.. then, let's look around for a bit, maybe we can find something to pass the time."

They looked around the city, and they saw many different sights, like the great mountains of the west that touched the sky, the grand statue of the Great Spirit Lord, and the moving cities that floated high in the sky, which were what the Spirit Hunters used to reduce housing issues.

They even discovered that the currency that these Spirit Hunters were using was called Crystal Essence, which is made once a spirit perishes and it undergoes a crystallisation process.

Even though there was the issue of it running out, the Draconic Humans have defeated so many spirits that Crystal Essence soon became plentiful, almost where it became the most common material there, and it can be found anywhere on the planet.

"Haha!"

"This was so fun! Even though we had to stay close to the inn so we couldn't get that far away, we still saw so many things."

"Yeah, but I wish we could've bought something from one of the shops, like a souvenir and we could even show it to Nathan!"

"Also, I just realised this but why was he walking with us the whole time?" Athena asked, pointing at Aiden, "He even looks like he's in some sort of trance."

"Wait, really? I didn't even realise he was there."

A few moments afterwards, Aiden had finally snapped out of his thoughts.

"I.. uh.. wait what?"

Aiden himself only realised now that he was quietly following the group, perhaps it was because he was so deep in thought that his body went into autopilot mode.

"Don't tell me, you're friends with Nathan now!"

"..Really?" Even Dean was surprised, unlike his usual quiet self, "That's surprising."

"I.. no! That's not…"

"Does that really mean you're friends with him now? I thought you two would have a horrible relationship with each other after you two fought that one time."

"I was just thinking..! I didn't realise that I was following you guys!"

The assumptions that they made continually made him more and more embarrassed, but he still could refute the fact that although very reluctantly, he was much nicer to Nathan than before.

Athena giggled, and teased him even further.

"Argh..!! I'm not his friend..!"

"….!"

Time had froze still, and the only one still moving, was Luna, who was wondering what was going on.

"What.. what's going on??"

In an instant, she felt a gaze on her back, and a mysterious, yet powerful voice spoke.

"I bear a warning, human." The Celestial, Blazing Winged Ark said to her.

"You.. want to speak to me? Then, why isn't my brother moving too, doesn't he mimic your divine power too?"

"You know why, and it is exactly the reason why I am telling you this."

"Once that human awakens, the entire universe will undergo a huge change."

"If it cannot handle that change, it will collapse in on itself, and the Sea of Chaos will reveal itself once again, just like how it did a millennia ago."

"He is a calamity waiting to be reborn, and you must be the one to stop this from happening. No matter what."
