GINEVRA
The door clicked open, I stepped out.
“Next time, if you have a message to pass across, Ricardo, do so without spilling blood on my grounds. I don’t need my people questioning my authority because I let the man I fuck kill at will in my territory.”
The door slammed shut.
The door clicked open, quick footsteps approaching from behind.
“Ginevra, what the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
“Walking away from you, Ricardo.”
“Ginevra!”
"Go home, Ricardo, you shouldn't be here." I hissed.
Ricardo’s firm hand grasped my wrist, twisting painfully. "What the fuck is wrong with you, Ginevra?"
Struggling to free myself from his clutch, I gritted through clenched teeth. “I used my safe-word, didn’t I? Do you not know what that means?”
“Stop this madness,” he snarled, the look in his eyes transforming into a new one. One that I hadn’t seen before, a glimpse I saw the day he revealed himself to me as Ricardo.
“I don’t want to be with you anymore!”
