Iris looked out at the ocean the wafting sent of sault calmed her. "You know for someone said to be viciously protective. You are disappointing no pathetic is a better way to describe you." she turn to see the scoundrel in question. "Subaru Mimasaka to what do I owe the displeasure?" she said glaring at him, he laughed in amusement.

"I was really hoping to face off against you. I unfortunately have to waist my time on your boyfriend." Iris was stunned by the accusation. "I hope you know that is a lie. I am to marry Kojiro Shinomiya so buzz off. You are nothing more than a second rate chef. That is all you ever will be. You copy your opponent leaving little room for originality. Whats wrong can't come up with your own ideas?" she said laughing what she didn't expect was being punched in the gut.

He froze looking down at Iris,who lays curled up in a ball trying to dull the pain. He backed up slowly shaking knowing just how fucked he really was. "I didn't mean to....I just....." He ran leaving her there alone. Iris was found my Soma who immediately called an abundance. Her parents and Kojiro arrived after getting word. When her eyes met Kojiro's she bursts into tears. He rushed to her side holding her. Iris frantically apologizing to him.

After Iris was calm she explained what happened. How dare that scum bag lay his hands on my queen. "I'll be back soon get some rest." I said kissing the top of her head. Her father followed me into the hall grabbing my arm. "What are you planning think rationally Kojiro. I want to go out find the punk and rip him apart too. What will that do sure it will heal our egos a bit. It won't bring the little girl back. It will stir truble for your business and for her. Son listen to me the best way to deal with this is to be her rock. She needs you now and you will be the one to pull her out of this.

I said walking out the hospital only to see the blonde kid from the training camp. What was his name again? "Is she ok?" He asked worried I see he still loves her. Threw my selfishness they will never be together.

"She is shooken up don't worry." I said walking past him. "This is all because of you. The bullying never stopped for her. Everyone has it out for her because of you. She is in that hospital bed because of you. You should end her suffering and call of the engagement. Go find a woman in your age group and leave my sweet angel alone." He said before leaving in the opposite direction. I hate to admit it but the kid has a point. The woman I love is in that hospital bed because of my selfishness.
