Crazy Blood Demon

Just a warning the first few chapters may be worse because I wrote them when I couldn't write well but in my opinion 15+ chapters will be much better than the previous ones, please give it a chance. Bob Reloud was a strange kid—psychopathic, autistic, and introverted. On the surface, he didn't fit the typical image of a psychopath, but when he got angry, he became something else entirely: a bloodthirsty predator, driven purely by instinct. The first sign of his violent nature emerged in kindergarten when he was just five. A classmate destroyed his favourite toy car, a cherished gift from his grandfather. Enraged, Bob's face turned red, and foam gathered at the corners of his mouth. In a fit of uncontrollable fury, he gouged the boy's eye, causing severe injuries that left the child hospitalized for a week. His parents, horrified, took him to a psychiatrist who reviewed footage of the incident. But when the psychiatrist met Bob, he found a calm, seemingly ordinary autistic boy. After weekly sessions revealed nothing abnormal beyond his autism, the psychiatrist concluded that it was an isolated incident—a strange, unexplainable outburst. However, Bob's parents remained cautious, assigning him a special tutor and treating him with apprehension, afraid to provoke another violent episode. One evening, his father came home drunk, as he often did, and began his habit of throwing insults at Bob's mother. Bob had grown accustomed to these rants. Afterward, his father sat down to watch football. Bob, fiddling with a stolen phone, accidentally blasted music at full volume. Bob’s dad started beating him, and his mom tried to calm him down, but it was too late. Bob became extremely angry, went into his psycho mode, and murdered his parents. Officer Danzel responded to the call. Breaking down the door, he was met with a chilling scene: a boy covered in dried blood, sitting calmly on the couch, the decomposing corpses of his parents beside him. "Don't move, or I'll shoot!" Danzel barked, his hand on his gun. Bob raised his hands. Danzel covered up the murders, taking Bob under his wing. Over the years, he moulded Bob into a spy and assassin—a tool for his purposes. Bob excelled at killing, but he despised espionage, finding it tedious. Worse still, Danzel kept him trapped, threatening to expose his past if he ever tried to leave. Eventually, Bob devised a plan to free himself. Over months, he deliberately botched missions, creating enough trouble to provoke Danzel's wrath. Finally, Danzel snapped. Now, Bob stood on the subway platform, a grin on his face and a backpack on his shoulders. For the first time, he felt free. Boarding the train, Bob heard the powerful voice of the demon. The apocalypse was about to begin, and his story could finally unfold.

Bob's head began to hurt from the influx of information, likely due to the low-level weapon mastery skill.

[All accumulated food will disappear due to the influence of scenario 2]

Bob clenched his fists in frustration as he looked at his now-empty shopping bags.

"I should have sold it all," muttered an angry Bob.

He noticed his group was asleep, so he lay down and went to sleep as well.

In the morning, Bob woke up to see that his group was already awake.

David approached Bob and said, "That skinny guy was on stage earlier, trying to calm people down after they lost their food."

Then Eduard came over and said, "We've been thinking about joining the group searching for food outside."

Bob glanced at the nearby dark rails of the underground train, where a system window was visible.

[Danger Zone]

"I want to go monster hunting," Bob said coldly, pointing toward the Danger Zone.

A heavy silence fell before Eduard finally spoke. "We'll go with you. After all, you're the strength of our group," Eduard said respectfully.

David reluctantly agreed with Eduard's decision, while Nina yawned, looking displeased.

Bob and his group approached the tracks but were stopped by the thin guy and a few others.

"I see you're going monster hunting. That's great. We need someone to finish scenario 2," he said with a wide grin, tossing Bob a flashlight.

Bob handed the flashlight to Nina and said, "Light the way. This will be your only job."

With that, they descended onto the rails, while the thin man and his group waved them off.

Once in the tunnel, Nina pulled out a kitchen knife and handed it to Eduard.

"Only on loan," she said with a faint blush.

Seeing this, Bob pulled a hammer from his inventory and tossed it to David.

[Inventory slots enabled: 0/5]

"You can keep it," Bob said.

"Thank you," David said gratefully.

The tunnel was damp, and a strange smell hung in the air, making Bob feel uneasy.

After about five minutes, Bob and his group encountered a weak skeleton. Bob finished it off with one swing of his sword.

Two minutes later, a system message appeared.

[You've stumbled upon a quest]

[Food Hunt

Catch monsters that can be consumed as food.

Difficulty: E

Reward: 500 coins

Penalty for failure: ????]

Bob and his group soon saw a group of six strange rabbits. These creatures looked like regular rabbits, but their bodies were covered in long spines.

Suddenly, the rabbits began to open their eyes.

"I'll fight first. If I get tired or injured, you all will fight in my place," Bob ordered.

The rabbits rose to their feet as Bob's group took positions behind him.

One rabbit lunged at Bob, but he deflected it, sending the creature hissing to the ground.

[Blood has gotten on your weapon, your weapon will deal 10% more damage]

"Not dead yet? Resilient little things," Bob thought as no notification appeared to confirm the kill.

Two rabbits then attacked simultaneously. Bob blocked both with his sword and threw them aside, but one managed to scratch his left leg.

[-10 HP]

"At least it's not bleeding," Bob muttered, relieved the system hadn't applied the bleeding effect.

The first rabbit he had struck bled out, leaving five rabbits. Two were already wounded and on the ground.

The remaining three rabbits coordinated their attack. Two leapt at Bob's head while the third bit into his leg.

[-30 HP]

[You got the effect [bleeding]. Every second, you lose 1 HP.]

"Fuck," Bob spat as he threw the two rabbits off. He then drove his sword into the head of the rabbit biting his leg, killing it instantly.

The other two rabbits he threw aside were now bleeding profusely. Bob quickly finished them off.

[Quest - Food Hunt successfully completed]

[For completing the quest, you received 500 coins]

[+210 XP]

[+660 coins]

[Ruby Ruler, Blood Shadow, and other watchers are pleased with your performance]

[They donated a total of 200 coins]

Bob tore a piece off one of his remaining three shirts and bandaged his wound to stop the bleeding.

When he turned to face his group, their mouths were agape.

"It's a good thing we have you, Bob. We probably couldn't have done it without you," Eduard said.

"You're really cool, Bob," David added.

Nina stayed silent, her cheeks flushed red.

Eduard examined one of the dead rabbits and made a grim realization. "I guess we're supposed to eat it raw," he said.

"Ugh, I'm not eating it raw," Nina said in disgust.

Bob and his group decided to leave the rabbits behind and ventured deeper into the tunnel.
