“Hey, we are coming off the train now,” a voice says waking me up. I look up to see a smiling, beautiful redhead.

“Thanks,” I say while trying to stand up through the tiredness of taking a 5-hour train ride and that is not the worst of it I have to go on a bus for 3 hours then I get to my destination.

She gives me a bright grin and walks away. I need to get to my bus now. I get on the bus and prepare myself to sleep. A very heavy man sits next to me and is prepared to do the same. Just as I was about to slip into sleep it turns out the man next to me beat me to it and he has the loudest snore it was so bad I could hear nothing else.

I spent the whole three hours awake and bored out of my mind. I have to buy myself a phone I left my old one in case it could be tracked. Now to find a place to live. I decided to stay at a motel for a few days while I find a permanent place to live. I checked in with my new ID and identity. I look so different, but I do not feel different I still have the same fears, desires and past. I was still being choked by the past, still afraid. Now I have new fears and new things I am running from. This was not just Noe running away this was Jordan Manroe’s assistant and ‘girlfriend’ who ran away.

I am still Noelle Snow. No. I am Scarlett Eloise Hazel. Nice right? I like it. Scarlett Eloise Hazel. Miss Scarlett Eloise Hazel. As much as I would like to stare at myself in the mirror the entire day, I do not have the time. Oh, I did not mention the appearance change. I straightened my afro–textured hair and dyed it brown, giving myself hazel eyes.

I went to the nearest shopping centre to find a job.

“Hi, I saw the sign outside saying you are hiring. Can I apply?”

“Oh, sorry darling I forgot to take the sign down. We are not hiring anymore.”

“Oh, okay thanks anyway”

And that was the story for the whole day. I will have better luck tomorrow, I guess. Just as I was doing my sad walk back to the motel, I bumped into someone. It is the cute redhead from the train.

“Oh my gosh I am so sorry I didn’t mean to bump into you” I say as I pick up the things, I made her drop.

“No, it’s okay don’t worry.” I hand her the things and just as I was about to walk away, she holds my arm.

“Hey, I couldn’t help but overhear you asking for a job. I have a vacancy available it is not going to pay much but I’m hoping you’ll consider it”

“Really? Thank you so much! When do I start?”

“Tomorrow. Come let me show you where the bakery is”

Jordan´s POV

“Search all over the city for her I want her found within 24 hours,” I say to my men. I have been looking for Miss Snow ever since she did not show up to work. I knew she ran away immediately when she did not come on time. I am feeling a mixture of regret, and anger and I am feeling very worried but mostly feel anger. When she comes back here, she is going to be punished.

My family is coming to help me sort out this mess. Miss Snow and I are supposed to go to a shareholder´s luncheon in 2 days so Manroe enterprises cannot afford for her to be gone

Just as I was in my thoughts my father walks in.

“I did not know you could be this incompetent. How could you let her run away? Do you know what this could cost this family!” he says then my mother, brothers and my sister walk in.

“I did not raise a failure so what the hell is this, Jordan!” My mother shouts.

Meet my family; my mother and father: Elaine and Johnathan, my brothers: Henry and Liam and my sister Kai. Nothing but a bunch of maniacs.

“Hello to you too mother and father”

“You do not deserve a hello with the mess you have created,” my mother says.

“I am fixing it okay! Give me a break!” I decided to shout back.

“Do not speak to my mother and father like that Jordan. You messed up to accept your mistake and take responsibility Jordan” Henry says my older brother otherwise known as my parents´ little puppy.

“I will not sit here and have all of you attack me I did not mess up she did okay, and you are not helping”

“What made you get with this girl anyway I do not see anything special about her and she has quite a nerve running away from a Manroe while being a nothing”

“Do not call her that!” I shout surprising myself.

“She is nothing but a common wh*re and when this whole thing blows over you are breaking up with her. Got it.”

“Mother and father are right, okay this girl of yours is going to cost us so when she has done her duty, we cut her off.”

I storm out of my office to get some air. I cannot believe she did this to me. How dare she even though I stood up for her my mother was right how dare she run away from me. When I find her, she will be sorry and that I promise.

It has been a few days and we haven´t found her yet I am beginning to get worried what if we never find her. We looked everywhere hospitals, hotels and police stations etc. but we are not finding her no one by the name of Noelle snow. My mom hired a PI to investigate her. I only did a brief background check this will be much more intense maybe we will get some clues as to where she went.
