Chapter 5: Lingerie
I have to show up to work with sunglasses today because I woke up with eyes as red as that bloody Mary I drank; I also woke up with a pounding headache and sever nausea so that’s fun.
I bring Mr. manroe his morning coffee and as I about to walk out he says,
“Miss Snow I have something to discuss with you” Ugh is this about last night? Is he finally going to apologize?
“We are going on a trip today to Dubai my friend Amir is having a launch party. It is a two-day party one formal and the other informal so I am going to need you to buy two dresses with this card and other things you might need for the trip.”
“Uh did you say today that is very short notice what if I had something I needed to do and tomorrow is supposed to be my day off” He is the most inconsiderate person ever.
“Mmm firstly you do not have something to do and secondly get out”
I have always been in the middle when it comes to shopping it's not my favorite thing to do but that doesn't mean I don't like it.
After Mr. robot Manroe told me to get out of his office very rudely, I went to the nearest mall and decided to make his card bleed. This time is different because instead of going to the usual stores I get into this fancy designer store, and I immediately see the dress I want to buy
A blonde petite woman approached me and with a professional voice she asked "how can I help you" and I replied
"I would like that dress there" while i pointed at it
"Great I'll have Stephanie package it for you while I take you to pay for it" I nodded then I remembered Mr. robot said I had to get two dresses because it's a two-day party first night it's a formal event then the second it's a party like loud music, sex and unplanned pregnancies.
"Oh, I have to get a party dress" after we spoke about the kind of dress, I want she led me to a different part of the store, and I saw the dress I want as you can already tell I don't take very long shopping I know what I want.
I paid for them and went to my car and put them in the back and I realized I needed shoes so I happened to stumble into a shoe I have not been eyeing every time I come to this mall. I get two pairs of shoes that go with each dress
When I get out of the shop, I see a Victoria's secret models store and I decide why not I mean when the last time was, I bought lingerie. I bought three matching bras and panties. I saw this sexy one-piece body suit
I was only going to buy the body suit and other things caught my eye and I couldn't help myself
I just had to. After I paid for them I checked my phone and it was 3:00pm what the hell I've been shopping for the whole day seeing that I had 4 hours left till I was going to get picked up I stopped at a little restaurant and ordered a burger, soda and fries which he paid for.
I sat and ate until it was like 5:00pm then I decided to head home and get ready. Since I was going to be on a plane or private jet most likely private jet, I dressed in casual comfortable but still appropriate clothes, and I packed my suitcase.
I made sure to make essentials and a toiletry bag and the most important a travel pillow I would not leave without it while I was checking on my invisible check list, I heard a knock on my door great time to go. I open the door and two very muscular men in suits were at my door not to mention very handsome stood there
"Evening Miss snow we are here to escort you" I suddenly got nervous did he finally found me?
"Where are you escorting me too?" the men looked at me, confused as I prepared to run, mapping out my route.
"To the airport" one said in a duh tone. I finally have reached the epitome of stupid.
"Oh yeah right sorry" I said with a nervous laugh and the one guy went to fetch my bags and the other one escorted me to a beautiful black limo the airport is an hour away, so I decided to watch some Netflix on the way.
"We're here" well that's my queue I whisper to myself as I closed my laptop. The men helped me out and took my stuff as they led me to the private jet
It was beautiful but not to be snobby it's nothing I haven't seen before. I get in and I was awestruck by the interior now this is something I have never seen before.
I look around and I see something or more accurately someone more beautiful than this interior I know I am not supposed to think of my boss this way but he is smoking hot.
"Miss Snow you're actually on time" he said as he checked his watch and I sat down opposite him.
we sat in awkward silence ok it might not have been awkward silence, but any silence is awkward for me I don't know why or maybe it was awkward because he was staring at me like let me look into your soul. It got very uncomfortable So I cleared my throat then he said "Miss snow I would like you to explain why you would need lingerie to go on this trip" I really didn't expect him to ask that. Oh sh*t
"Sir um I just…um needed some bras to go with the dresses" I let out a quiet sigh of relief when he nodded.
