Chapter 96: I’m Not a Fortune Teller, You Know

After a short nap, Kanda Shuichi, Hirata, and Miyake went to the library on the ship. 

To their surprise, the ship even had a library. It felt a bit unnecessary—was this really something they needed? 

After asking the staff for help, the three quickly found the materials they were looking for. 

But as they flipped through the books, they couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. There was just too much information about camping. 

From setting up tents to choosing a campsite and even fire-starting guides—it was already a mountain of material. 

And beyond that, there was an entire section on selecting food. 

There was no way to get through it all! 

Kanda Shuichi regretted not bringing memory-enhancing candy with him. If he had, this might have been a bit easier. 

Even Miyake, who had camping experience, felt a bit lost. Aside from making firebreaks and setting up tents, everything else was new to him.

Hirata and Miyake shook their heads with bitter smiles. 

Camping wasn't just a simple task—it was an entire field of knowledge. Trying to master it in half a day was nearly impossible. 

"I quit, I quit. Let's just deal with things as they come, anyway, I don't think the school will push us too hard."

Hasebe Haruka, who had been quietly listening to the conversation between the two, couldn't hold back and burst out laughing. Everything that Kanda Shuichi had guessed about Horikita Suzune's behavior since she woke up was spot on.

This included Horikita Suzune not refusing the water Sakura offered, then going to take a shower, and later rejecting Sakura's offer to help. All of this had been predicted clearly by Kanda Shuichi.

If Horikita Suzune's life were a play, Kanda Shuichi would undoubtedly be the scriptwriter.

As someone who had already seen the script, Hasebe Haruka couldn't stop laughing.

As for Sakura Airi, she thought Kanda was amazing for being able to predict all of this.

After seeing Horikita walk into the bathroom with a change of clothes, Hasebe Haruka grinned mischievously.

"Airi, do you think Horikita will say what Kanda predicted after coming out of the bathroom?"

After a few minutes, Horikita Suzune came out of the bathroom, placed her dirty clothes into the washing machine, and looked at Sakura and Hasebe.

"Since he's guessed so much, he must also know I'll ask about his whereabouts. Where is he?"

At this, Sakura Airi was stunned, and Hasebe Haruka couldn't stop herself and burst out laughing. "Hahaha, hahahaha, I can't take it anymore, let me laugh for a while..."

"Kanda said he's waiting for you at the place you agreed to meet at noon."
