Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 25. Sierra

Silas already got to the prison yard before anyone else. He used the gym equipment in the before all the other prisoners came there.

He sat at a far corner and meditated. The prisoners seeing him were now wary of him as they saw him take down the team of bosses who have been ruling this prison for years... And he was only at 50% strength.

Silas let out a deep breath as he opened his eyes and then he saw a woman in front of him staring at his face with a smile. She was also in prisoners outfit and Silas raised a brow at her.

"What?" He asked as he just looked at the woman who everyone in the yard was also looking at.

"Hi, my name is Sierra. Mind if I sit beside you?" She asked widely and Silas nodded.

The prisoners were all looking in their direction and then Silas had a lot on his mind.

'The ones that entered Nigeria's borders are still unknown. The others won't bother to find me. Only these two people; Asakira from Japan and the royal wolves from the United States...'

'And I have none of my gear or weapons. On the news, my name was only said. The reporter didn't share my picture or address... So there's only one explanation - They hacked into national records. This prison might not be the safest place if that's the case.' Silas sighed tiredly and then he shook his head as he kept hearing the lady beside him humming.

He looked at her and then her beautiful blue eyes met his.

The woman looked to be in her twenties. She had short blonde hair which was roughly packed and she looked only a few centimetres shorter than Silas.

"What is it?" Silas asked.

"Huh? Oh." She straightened up.

"I saw that you were in deep thought so I thought that maybe I should calm down and stare at your handsome face." She said with a playful smile.

"You were just recently brought in. I'm a huge fan of you, the black onyx." Sierra seemed like she was about to scream and Silas could hear her quickened heartbeat.

"You're... excited?" Silas said with a raised brow and she nodded.

"Wow. So why are you in jail?" Silas asked her as he stretched his arms.

"Oh, I was a mercenary, like an assassin. Yeah, the people around where I lived labelled me as a witch since a few unnatural things happened around me." She said and Silas shook his head.

"Forget about me. Pfft. My story is lame, I wanna hear yours. Tell me, tell me, tell me." Sierra pestered Silas and he stood up, still with his calm expression.

"Maybe another time. I want to go and continue playing." Silas said and then Sierra offered to escort him and he refused.

"What an interesting woman? She doesn't seem to have the qualities I possess." Silas said with a sigh as he went back into the main building.

The quality of seeing everything from a logical point of view. It's really hard 5l explain, but nothing can freak him out or make him excited unless it's something far beyond the possibilities of humans; like the cultivation world. The way things worked there was just so annoying.

...

As Silas left, Sierra who was sitting down at his spot cleared her throat as she started counting.

"One... Two... Three."

In that moment, the prisoners swarmed around her asking all sorts of questions about Silas.

"Hey, how did you talk to him?"

"Who are you?"

"Was he scary?"

"Did you get to hear any of his stories?"

"What was that about?"

"You really have courage."

Sierra smiled as she was now famous too in the prison and then she began to say some stuff which she found out.

...

Silas entered into the jail room and the chief guard saw him going upstairs to the cells.

"Silas!" The guard called him and he turned around.

"So you really are black onyx!!" The guard shouted and he pointed his batons at Silas.

"Yes. Is my cell open?" Silas asked with a tired tone and expression.

"Ah." The guard was taken aback by Silas' calm demeanor.

"I... It's great to finally meet you. And yes, your cell will be opened now. You can close it manually once you go in." The guard said now as he put his batons back on his waist which Silas didn't bother asking about.

Silas was looking at the man with a bitter smile and the guard was surprised and then he looked around.

"What happened?"

"What's 'manually'?" Silas asked and then the guard facepalmed as he forgot that Silas didn't get a proper education, being kidnapped at 8.

"I meant that you can lock it yourself. Just close it and it'll lock automa– sorry, it'll lock by itself." The chief of the guards struggled to speak straight but Silas nodded as he understood and went upstairs back to his cell and as he closed it by sliding, the doors clicked and then he laid on the bed and put on his helmet.

He first of all adjusted to be in a comfortable position and then he opened his eyes and a beam of light scanned his retina.

...

Back at Avalon kingdom. In front of the alleyway leading to the slums, Silas appeared in a beam of red light and then he looked around at the residents there.

"Hm... Should I wait for her?" Silas mumbled as he looked around for Juliet but then he smiled as he turned around.

"How do you always know when I appear?" Silas asked as he turned around to see Juliet in her crop top and tight combat shorts.

"I can sense your presence from over a kilometre away." Juliet said and then she bowed a bit.

"We have a new recruit." Juliet said and then Silas had a raised brow and then he looked behind her in the distance to see Karvon running towards them, looking exhausted.

"Recruit? how?" Silas asked.

"Oh, it was immediately after you left that he approached me and told me that he's in to do 'whatever it takes'." Juliet said the last part of the sentence with a smile and Silas laughed lightly and walked towards him.

"Mister... Haa..." Karvon finally got to them and he breathed out a heavy breath as he stopped running.

"I hear you decided not long after?" Silas asked and Karvon cleared his throat as he stood straight and looked at Silas.
