Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 15. The police

Silas managed to grab the grenade from the guy and then as he turned around he saw the leader of the gang stand up, holding a gun.

The boss looked around to see all his men on the ground wounded and some severely injured and he looked at Silas in front of him with an angry expression as he pulled up his gun towards Silas.

Silas jumped sideways as and rolled, picking up the metal shield that was on the ground and then the shots hit the shield, making clanking sounds.

The boss couldn't stop as he was consumed by rage.

He suddenly looked confused as the gun in his hand stopped firing and then Silas picked up a gun beside him and threw the shield towards the man.

The man managed to put his arms in front of him to defend himself and Silas had already shortened the distance between them in that little time.

The man was knocked back by the shield and his arms hurt. He had a lot of muscles and his arms were bulky, so his bones were still intact.

He pushed the shield off of him to see Silas above him with a gun pointed towards his head. At this moment, Silas looked cold, he didn't look like the man they kidnapped who always had a tranquil face.

This Silas looked like he didn't even care about anything that was happening right now.

All of a sudden the windows shattered as people jumped in. They were in black and the words 'police' were on their uniform.

"Freeze!!" All of them chorused as they pointed their assault rifles at Silas.

A man walked into the room and he wore a white, long sleeved shirt with a bullet proof vest and black combat pants and boots.

Silas smiled bitterly as he saw this man.

"It's not what you think." Silas said and the man frowned and then he looked around at the scene, seeing dozens of men fatally injured and one man standing.

At this moment, it looked like Silas was the perpetrator here.

"You." The man said in an extremely angry tone and then he pointed at Silas and The gang boss.

"Cuff those two men and put them in the main truck. The others should be taken to the hospital." The man said and then he turned around and Silas was cuffed beside the gang boss inside a soundproof, bulletproof, and fireproof vehicle.

The inside of the jet black truck was made with a strange material and Silas felt uncomfortable as the gang boss stared at him hard.

They didn't say anything throughout and soon, the truck arrived at the police station.

...

Inside a quiet, interrogation room, Silas was sat on a chair facing a square table and his hands were cuffed on the table. On the opposite side of the table was a beautiful black haired woman, who had glasses on and a few buttons of her shirt loose.

Outside, the deputy, the man with only a shirt and a bulletproof vest looked within the transparent glass as he stared at Silas in annoyance.

"Mr Silas, my name is Roxanne. And I'm going to ask you a few questions." She said and Silas nodded as he tapped his fingers on the table and tapped his feet on the floor.

"I see you're nervous, Mr Silas." She said with a smile and Silas raised a brow as he looked at her.

"I'm just supposed to be logged in already in realm of immortals." Silas said in frustration.

He was about to visit a new kingdom with Juliet and now he's being held, throughout the day, he hasn't logged in at all.

The woman smiled bitterly at his words and then she began to question him.

"Why were the red viper gang after you?" She asked.

"I killed their boss a year ago."

The woman was quite stunned as Silas said with a straight face and then she composed herself.

"Have you... Been feeling well lately?" She asked and Silas looked at her from head to toe as he squinted his eyes.

The deputy outside too furrowed his brows.

"I've been well. People don't really talk to me at work except for the boss. I just bought the full dive MMO game to play recently." Silas looked excited as he said that.

And even more irrelevant questions were hurdled at Silas, mainly asking him how he's been living life.

"You're going to be staying here for the main time." The woman said and Silas frowned.

"But why?"

"We've observed some shady people entering the border. Your enemies must have found out your real identity and address and now they've come for you." The woman stood up as she moved the chair backwards.

"We'll get you another private residence, till then, you'll have to stay in prison. It's the safest place." She said and Silas sighed tiredly as he looked at her.

"Please, I have one request. My gaming helmet." He said and the woman gritted her teeth as she looked at the glass and the deputy nodded.

"You'll get it soon, Mr Silas." She said and then she left the interrogation room and Silas breathed out as he closed his eyes.

'Things are looking bad, let me stay like this for a while.' He thought as he began to meditate.

...

"I don't understand why the government let him live." The beautiful woman in glasses said as she sighed tiredly.

"Of course, because they consider him a valuable asset." The deputy, Mark, replied to her.

"I better get the police on patrol to bring his gaming helmet." She said as she left his office.

There was a young man beside the deputy who stood and observed everything and he looked at the deputy and he asked.

"Who is the man?" The dude asked and the deputy sighed.

"That's the man behind the mask of the black onyx." He said and the assistant nodded before asking;

"...And who's the black onyx?"
