Unexpected Intruder

As I looked at the tunnel, what I expected was cat mom and nothing else, but this time there was something different, it was four giant humanoid beings. They had one huge bulging eye on the middle of their faces.

They had a huge torso that seems to be 70% of their body, they had short muscular arms that held onto a me sized brown club in one hand. Three of them are bald with no hair, but only one of them had a unicorn like horn coming out of their head.

The one with the unicorn was also much bigger than the rest of the humanoid creatures. I am assuming it's their leader. They also have a tattered cloth that covers most of their torso and upper part of their legs.

They also have short legs with three disgustingly big toes with overgrown nails. On their hands they have three fingers which also have overgrown nails. They were stumbling around like a bunch of children.

They look around the room and see the corpses of the frog and the rabbits. They started drooling and then they saw my siblings eating away at the frog. They were so busy admiring the food that they missed me.

I was dumbfounded and startled that they came in instead of cat mom. I couldn't help, but freeze up on the spot at these giants. They are as tall as cat mom and the leader is a good head above his colleagues.

They all gazed at the meat on the ground and not on me. I quickly regain control over my body and couldn't help, but be infuriated at their disgusting faces as they eye the prey that I killed with so much work.

I go closer to the wall and close in on their location. They still haven't noticed me, probably because they have one eye, their Night Vision skill isn't as good as mine and they can't stop looking at food like vultures.

The leader was behind the three probably because he wants to use them as human...oid shields if anything came up. I asked the system to show me their information and a second later, their basic profiles came up.

I can't believe what is being displayed, these guys are all on their second evolution and the leader can't be identified. This time I don't have an advantage of having to face only one with the fact that all of them look like they don't have any major wounds.

I won't have a handicap like my fight against the Big Frog and these guys are much stronger than it, not to mention it's 1 vs 4 and the other team is more powerful than me. A smack from one of those clubs could turn me into a flesh blob.

I start to panic, there is no exit since they are at it and I can't just leave my siblings, if I were on earth, I would rather die than let my sister die. I close up the distance, my black fur gives me an advantage if they don't have the proper Night Vision skill.

Even without the proper Night Vision, they could still kill me if I try to attack one. I don't have any powerful attack other than my newly practiced magic, but that takes quite a lot of time to activate.

My only advantage would be to blind them, but they are just too tall, I would slip if I were to attempt a climb. I don't want to mention the scene after they find me on the ground defenseless, let's say it won't be good.

If I could use my magic during combat and not have to divert all my attention to use it, I could have a chance of wounding their legs by melting them off and then blinding them when they fall to the ground.

All these possibilities filled my head, I try to make a plan, but there is none that are useful. I continue closing the distance and see that one of them is moving towards my siblings.

I inwardly panic, how about using myself as bait, I have great agility and those guys look like they will have trouble even making a quick jog. I will slip between their legs and try to anger their leader.

I bet that will get their attention, if I can kill one and take their skills, I will have an easier time facing them. I am also close to leveling up, I will have the chance to evolve after killing one.

With my estimates, the maximum amount of exp increases by 10 per level and since the frog gave me 70 and to level up to level 4 I need 30 more exp since I already have 10/40 and the level up after should need 50 exp.

I have a high chance of jumping straight to level 5 after killing just one. As I run faster, I prepare to attack the leader's legs with both my claws. Only three seconds away… two seconds… one second…

As soon as I reached the perfect place to jump onto the leader's legs. Another cyclops started moving and I jumped onto his legs instead, thinking I already arrived at the leader's legs i start cat scratching the sh*t out of his midget legs.

With a loud howl coming from this unsuspecting victim, he looks directly at what caused it pain. It was a cat the size of a football to it, honestly this cyclops could punt me to the opposite wall with all its force.

I realise that the cyclops has taken the bait, but to find out it's not the leader at all and just a meat shield. This is a pretty dang good meat shield you got here, he actually blocked my sneak attack out of pure luck.

I see the cyclops raise its club above its head with bloodshot eyes. It looks pretty angry for a wound that's like a mosquito bite for it. I actually would be mad too if a mosquito bit me to be fair, but that's not what's important.

I rolled to the side of the impact point of the large wooden club and ran to the leader's legs. I maneuver around the unimportant cyclop's legs and reach the leader's legs. He noticed my presence when one of its servants was injured.

It looked at me like a child who is about to step onto an ant. It raised its legs to step on me, but it was too slow and I reached its other leg to scratch and bite it with the little time I have to attack.

There was one miscalculation on my part, I thought that this cyclops had only one club, but it has two, one for each arm. If I hadn't accidentally looked up when biting off a chunk of its leg. I would've missed the fact that the club would've slammed me onto the ground in four seconds.

I immediately rolled out of the way and made my way inside the tunnel. The leader began to look furious like the other cyclops that I attacked. The other cyclops stopped what they were doing and began to start chase.

"You d*mn worm, you dare hurt me. I will make you suffer something worse than death." I saw the words coming from the look in his eyes. I turned my head back and ran at a pace they could keep up with.

I must bring them away as far as I can, I must stall for time until cat mom comes back to help me. The game of chase between David and Goliath… the Goliaths begins.
