Killing the Big Tarantula

The Big Tarantula observes me with curious eyes and it bared its fangs towards me with hostile intent. I paid attention to the tarantula and drew a very miniscule amount of mana. This made the process of making acid go from seven minutes to one minute.

We looked at each other with an ocean of killing intent, a second felt quite long as we kept staring at each other. My acid was about to reach my mouth, but the tarantula suddenly released a huge wave of white string out of its abdomen.

I could barely react to it and tried to dodge, but it caught my two back legs. I fell onto the ground and slid on the ground for 3 meters. I looked at this menacing opponent, unlike my last fights, I can't just use the advantage of my small size to blind them.

Also this tarantula has eight eyes so I plan to use my acid magic. I lost focus during this moment and it will take another ten seconds to be able to use the acid. I stared back at the tarantula and saw that it's grabbing the string.

It wants to drag me to it so it can probably finish me off with his fangs. I desperately grab control of the mana and summon it to my mouth, luckily we are the same size and he seems to be dragging me in slowly.

As the acid was stuck in my mouth, I spit it out towards the tarantula unlike last time where I coughed before I was able to launch it. The tarantula dodged it, but it also suffered an injury, I hit its front left leg as it was dodging.

I didn't know why it dragged me to it, it could've just walked to me and bit me where I lay on the ground. I bet it hasn't got the Common Sense skill or much intelligence. I claw my way out of the white webs that grip onto my legs.

The tarantula was crying and hissing about its front left leg in pain. I took this time to close in on him and attempt to scratch his eyes, he saw me coming and shot out webs from its abdomen crazily.

He shot towards me three times and I dodged all of them because he wasn't great on his aim while it was in a rage and I was fully expecting it. Before it knew it, I was already in front of it ready to claw its bead like eyes out.

Okay my trusty claws, it's time to once again scratch its eyes out, time to blind another enemy. I let out a series of scratches which was aimed at the bigger eyes in the front. They were closely guarded by its huge fangs.

It struggled to dodge my attacks that are paired with my high agility. This battle is truly the hardest one to fight yet, but still not a problem for me with my knowledge of the body. If I can blind the Big Tarantula then it's checkmate.

I don't expect it to just stand by and do nothing either, but it isn't attacking back, just guarding itself and dodging. This confuses me, we keep at this game of me attacking while it dodges for a couple of minutes.

Until it exposed its abdomen once again and shot an incredibly thin piece of string out, I wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for it being as shiny as a gem. I could barely dodge it, it cuts straight through the side of my body.

This is the first injury ever since I have got here and this was because of a tiny string. No, I can't underestimate this tarantula, since I had an easy killing of evolution 2 creatures I got too confident.

I will take you much more seriously tarantula, I look at that suspicious looking string, it has a very familiar luster to it, I've seen it before. As we continued fighting, he couldn't attack while I was on the complete offense with my overwhelming speed, but I can't inflict any damage since my strength is my worst.

I finally realize what that shine is, it's mana, this tarantula knows magic. I shouldn't be too surprised since the Big Frog and cyclops know magic of their own. I don't lack any magical skills so getting web magic doesn't seem great.

Isn't this perfect timing to use my new magic I got from that cyclops, the Body Enhancement Magic. Magic is very complicated even with my skills because I am very new to this and the process of using magic is too draining if you plan to use large scale attacks. Plus, i don't know how to imagine me getting more buff right now in my cat body so I'll pass for right now.

I haven't used my Poison magic yet, I need something to either consume the poison or I must inject poison into my foe. I have an idea, I can definitely try to inject poison through my cat fangs.

Even though my strength is absolute garbage, my attack speed makes up for that area. I can see many wounds forming on the tarantula. If I can bite into an injured area, I can inject the poison.

Let's think of a deadly poison on earth, something that can kill many strong beasts. Hehe, oh tarantula, how would it feel if you got poisoned instead of you poisoning me. Even though injecting poison through your fangs is called venom.

I honestly don't care, I really hate the people who name the same thing differently like alligators and crocodiles if you forgot. Man, that person makes my blood boil, some scientists argue why they are different, but do you think people will be approaching a huge deadly lizard just to be like, wow I think this is an alligator and put themselves at risk of being insta-killed by the alligator.

What if that alligator was actually a crocodile and you died for nothing, I bet this would go into the hall of most unfulfilling lives. Do you think someone like this will have a fulfilling life, maybe, but most likely not.

Can't we just call crocodiles and alligators one or the other. Enough with my rant let's get back to poisoning or venom...ing? Our tarantula friend, I would like to take that magic string skill you have there.

I also want all of your other skills, maybe I can walk on ceilings or on walls like a certain superhero on earth. Wait, I completely forgot tarantulas here could be much more different than on earth.

I'm only assuming these things because the system told me it's just a Big Tarantula so I'm assuming it's like the ones on earth since it has tarantula in its name. Anyway, I imagine a very great and deadly poison from earth into my head. Cyanide.

It can kill anything with it's incredibly terrifying power, if someone takes a small dosage, it could still kill them within a couple of days, but I don't want this guy to die in a couple of days, I want him to die in minutes or perhaps seconds.

Luckily the poison magic isn't any different than the acid magic in casting. This time though I move it above my esophagus and into the crown of my front tooth (the crown is the outer part of your teeth you are used to seeing in the mirror.)

I see a wound on its carapace, I jump above it, it was taken aback and watched me without moving. Perfect, easy pickings, I open my maw wide and take a huge bite of its injured carapace.

A loud screech overcame the entire cave, oh sh*t this is why I hate anything with eight legs. The screech from its leg being melted by acid wasn't loud and long lasting as this ear piercing sound.

When it stopped, it tumbled to the ground where it finally lay without any signs of movement. I sigh in relief for only a second to realize sounds of giant, thumping footsteps could be heard in almost all directions.
