Encountering a Creepy Crawly

------------------------------

[Adolescent Devil Cat]

[Demonic Mana Cat]

[Hellwing Mana Cat]

------------------------------

There is one more option than the last time. Before I go out and fight again, I must choose one with a relatively great combat potential. This is another evolution, I can't ignore even a single one. Let's check the Adolescent Devil cat first.

------------------------------

[Adolescent Devil Cat]

-An older version of the Juvenile Devil Cat. It has an increase in physical power and agility to make perfect assassins.

+17 Strength

+10 Endurance

+21 Agility

------------------------------

I couldn't help, but gawk at the increase in these attributes, if I were to scratch the cyclops with this strength and agility, it would take less than ten seconds to finish off one. Calm down Adam, this is the ordinary route of evolution. Let's check the Demonic Mana Cat's attributes.

------------------------------

[Demonic Mana Cat]

-A more experienced Black Mana Cat and has unlocked an affinity with shadow magic and blood magic to instantly kill those who are weaker than them.

Requirements: Is a Black Mana Cat (Completed)

+12 Intelligence

+18 Agility

+15 Awareness

+Learn Shadow and Blood magic

+Shadow and Blood magic affinity (cast time decreases by 200 times)

------------------------------

I receive another mental shock as I see not just the attributes, but the magic affinity to those elements. The acid magic took me close to seven minutes, let's say that all magic will take seven minutes. This magic affinity let's me cast these two magics in seconds.

Truly terrifying, the Demonic Devil Cat truly deserves its name. If I were to face off against this, I would have no hope of even touching such a creature. Luckily I picked the Black Mana Cat as my first evolution. Now let's look at the Hellwing Mana Cat.

------------------------------

[Hellwing Mana Cat]

-A truly devastating creature, only 1/10,000 Black Mana Cats have the pleasure to use this power. The Hellwing Mana Cat borrows mana from the underworld for a near infinite supply of mana for their combat purposes.

Requirements:

-Black Mana Cat (Completed)

-Learned multiple magics: 3/2 (Completed)

-Has slain multiple creatures much more powerful than yourself: 2/3 (Not Complete)

+18 Intelligence

+23 Awareness

+25 Agility

+Devil's Gate Cultivation Technique

+Wings of Hell

+Affinity to all magics (cast time decreases by 50 times)

------------------------------

Holy mother of god...or satan. This evolution is definitely a yes from me, with my CopyCat skill, I can learn all the magic I want. To decrease cast time by 50 is still incredible, applying the same thought of all magic taking seven minutes, I can use magic with ten seconds.

This may be slower than the Demonic Mana Cat, but this applies to all magic I have. Not to mention the stat increase, the three stats would be increased by over two times. Plus, I happen to have tons of mana reserves.

This will make me like an unkillable god bringing hell fire across the land. My only concern is the requirements, they are way too strict. If I didn't have CopyCat, this would be nigh impossible, but right now I still haven't completed all the requirements.

I still need to kill another cyclops d*mn it, I am angry at the requirements, but I am excited to evolve into an unkillable machine. As my intelligence is currently my second highest stat from awareness, my plan was to always learn magic.

Not just that it looks cool, but I can do multiple things with it, plus I have the Body Enhancement Magic if I need to get up close and personal. Magic is a perfect match with my CopyCat skill, I can learn all the magic arts in the world.

I can be the Jack of all trades, master of all… magic. I still need to find another evolution 2 creature to kill before I am able to evolve which makes me depressed. I am also on full alert while checking my evolution screen.

As I was thinking if I should go back and kill another cyclops, I heard a faint tack tack sound coming from above the small burrow. This isn't a cyclops, if it was, it would make a heavier sound than this.

It sounds like a hatchet hitting the trunk of a thick oak tree. I don't dare observe what it is because I know the cyclops are still trying to find me as I heard their heavy footsteps earlier when I was checking my first two options.

If a creature can wander during a time where a group of immensely powerful creatures roam nearby, it isn't as simple as a regular evolution 2 creature. It could be a high leveled monster with incredible power or it could be a very quick or intelligent evolution 2 creature who avoided the slow cyclops.

The tack tack slowly gets louder as the creature gets closer to above where I currently am. If it fights me in this small burrow, I can't escape, but if I were to fight outside, I could be found by the cyclops.

Unlike being found by the cyclops, I can't run if this creature is small enough to be able to enter the burrow. I silently panic, I can't choose either option as it will lead me to lose control of the situation.

I breathe in lots of air to calm myself, I choose to go outside. I have a better chance of escaping outside than being cornered in this burrow. I get up and run to the entrance of the burrow and jump out to look for the mysterious creature.

What I saw made my entire body send chills throughout my slim, cat body. It was an incredibly hairy, huge, brown spider. The reason for my panic is that I have always hated spiders, one time I went to the nearby zoo on earth with my little sister.

She was a child, the zoo was always popular in the nearby areas, I was a teenager at the time and we went through the bugs section and saw multiple tarantulas. The part that scared me was when I saw the goliath birdeater, that thing was bigger than my human hand.

Not to mention the fact that this thing could eat small birds, it jumped at me and hit the display screen which terrified me pretty bad even though I was a meter away from the display wall where they hold the bugs. I didn't get my fear from here actually, this just stimulated it, I just naturally have arachnophobia.

I don't hate insects, I hate spiders because they look terrifying and you never know if they are poisonous or even if they are on you at all. This me sized spider looks at me straight with all of its eight unsettling, this is the first time a creature of my height has appeared and I don't like it.

System please give me an analysis so I can kill it as fast as I can or so I can run as fast as I can. Within two seconds there was a notification that appeared in my mind.

------------------------------

[Big Tarantula] Evolution 2

Current Level-(1/10)

------------------------------

No wonder this guy isn't as big as the Big Frog because it is a newly evolved creature. It probably evolved pretty recently, this should be easier than my other fights since he has the lowest stats.

I have chosen my sworn enemy to complete the final requirement to evolve into the Hellwing Mana Cat, prepare to die spide… I mean tarantula.
