Nevian's POV
Drumming my fingers against the table, I had my hand resting under my chin as I bit my bottom lips.
Suddenly, I rose only to fall back on my seat as I started to review the documents in front of me.
All my life, I had tried all I could to avoid getting involved in a scandal but it seemed like I wouldn't be able to do so as the moment I manage to pull out from one, I will get two awaiting me.
Turning on my computer, I took a look at the engagement that got doubled and with a sigh, I fell back on my seat.
"Sir, it's time." Alfred said and immediately, I began to head for the door to meet with the lawyer of the injured staff.
The moment I stepped into the boardroom, Harry, the injured staff, rose with his lawyer.
"Thank you for coming around." His lawyer who turned out to be Lance's head of legal representative said with a mocking tone which I didn't fail to miss.
