"Call him!" Horas yelled. However, unbeknownst to him, the boy would not come to his rescue.
Since Horas had agreed with Sir Mester to call the boy that had reported, Yianni nodded his head and signaled one of the guards to fetch the boy.
"Let me go as well to bring him in," Sir Mester said.
But Yianni refused with a mere shake of his head.
Mumbling spread within the men that were seated there and Yianni could feel their eyes peeling the skin of his face. They dared not accuse or say anything foul to his face as he was still king after all, but at the same time, Yianni was aware that they could talk and sneer at his back.
