----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read on mobile device for best experience. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having lost his parents at a young age and not having access to a home since it had burned to the ground after a sudden outburst of flames, Arthur was taken in by the council of sorcery. Not because they had felt sympathy for him but simply due to the fact that even though his parents had been burned to ashes, Arthur did not even have a single scratch on his body. Now intrigued by the boy, the council of sorcery sent their most obedient servant; the one they call “the inspector” to relocate Arthur into a prestigious school so that his strength could bloom so that they could have a powerful ally in the future. Even so, the council of sorcery commanded that the school treated him like trash. This was because Arthur’s parents were quite powerful in their prime and as such were sought after by the council of sorcery. Even though it was an amazing offer for Arthur’s parents, they refused which invoked the long lasting rage of the council of sorcery. In a world full of factions that try to sway the tides of power to their own side, Arthur must now learn how to grow strong so he could finally find the person who had killed his parents and get revenge for the years of torment that the council of sorcery had put him through. Although he just might get quite a bit more than he bargained for. —————————————————————————————————————————— Note: This story will be quite long since there are a lot of things that need to be covered in the story. Sadly though, I’m fueled by compliments so the more people that enjoy this novel, the more I can write. Schedule plan for this novel is 2 chapters a day, 1000+ words each or if does quite well, it will be moved up to 3 chapters a day (same number of words each). —————————————————————————————————————————— Hope you enjoy this novel though, happy reading.
Although Arthur continued to wake up every once in a while, for the last 3 days, he had only been waking up momentarily before passing out once again. A total of 10000 pounds was just too much for him. Furthermore, he had been caught up in all his celebrating due to him managing to run with 400 pounds that he forgot to eat and now was in a much worse position than he originally intended to be in.
"Wait, if I just give this everything I have and get through this, I'll eventually complete this task and I'll be able to rest. All I have to do is torture my body for a couple minutes and then I can enjoy the fruits of my labour," Arthur told himself as he tried to encourage himself to get up from the ground. Although it was rather stupid, Arthur surprisingly managed to get up from the ground. It was a real miracle. However, that was it.
All Arthur was able to do was get up from the ground and stand still like a statue as if he had tried to move even a centimetre, he would collapse and probably die.
As such, Arthur stood still for another 3 days all while his bones continued to crack all while he was doing this. His muscles continued to tear apart before rebuilding themselves at the same time so that Arthur could get stronger.
On the 6th day of the hell he was going through, Arthur finally felt confident in his ability to walk and as such took his very first step forward. To his own surprise, Arthur was able to walk and felt proud of himself even though he was shaking from all the exhaustion. However, that would not be the end of his struggles as his first real opponent came to challenge him even though he had barely managed to learn to walk with the weighted clothes.

…
…
A loud earthquake could be heard all across the island that Arthur was on which he planned to train on so that he could make full use of the spells he had under his disposal. This was followed by several more earthquakes that continued that after a few moments made Arthur realise that what he was hearing were not earthquakes but instead foot steps. Using all his might, Arthur managed to turn around to face the person who was causing all the commotion which caused him to lose all his breath from just doing that.
As Arthur took a look at the intruder on the island, he felt sick to his stomach from the sheer presence that the person or creature had around him. It was a tall bearded man who was easily 20 feet tall. He seemed to weigh at least 1000 pounds which were a mix of fat and pure muscle as he stood with a confident yet not arrogant expression. It was as if he was only there to get one job done and he knew he would get it done. In his right palm was a large war hammer that seemed like it could break the island in half if he wanted to with ease.
"Hello there, do you happen to be Arthur?" the tall man asked to which Arthur seemed to turn as white as milk from being so pale in fear of what would happen next.
"Y-Yes," Arthur answered to which the tall man did not bother to say anything more and brought his hammer over his head before slamming it directly on Arthur's body.
In a last minute effort to try to defend himself, Arthur raised his arms over his head to try to protect himself even though the weight of his shirt was making it a difficult task. Nevertheless, Arthur was able to do so, not that it was useful as the hammer literally shattered the bones in his arms to complete dust. Even so, Arthur was still alive and the island was surprisingly still intact due to Yosel having previously reinforced it so that it would not snap after having 10000 pounds on it or more later on.
After having his arms completely broken, Arthur let out the loudest scream of pain he could. Even throughout all his years of being abused by his school, he had never experienced something so painful.
That was the moment Yosel came out of nowhere and faced Arthur. Seeing Yosel made Arthur a lot happier as he was saved. Yosel was much stronger than he was and as such, he had assumed that he was being rescued.
"Hit him again, he's not dead yet," said Yosel to which the giant man listened and smacked his hammer down once again down at Arthur.
"But why?" Arthur asked in a weak and confused voice after having his other bones broken from the second attack. Although it wasn't as bad as the first attack as the damage had been distributed due to Arthur having been laying on the ground. He didn't understand why Yosel would simply betray him like that after giving him hope of a false reality.
"Did you really think I would train you? You were only allowed to live so that we could see if we could make use of you. At the rate you're progressing, you're a threat to humanity. You're going to be erased now so just accept that and move on," said Yosel to which Arthur let a small smile on his face.
"I should've expected this from the start. Why did I ever believe that I had a chance to get revenge? I fell for everything he said. How pathetic can I be?" Arthur asked himself as his will to live began to disappear all while a single teardrop left his eyes.
"Well, at least now that I'll be dead, everyone can be happy and live their lives without having to worry that a disgusting creature like me lives on this planet," Arthur said to himself before losing consciousness from being hit with the giant war hammer so many times.
"I think he's dead. Although you can never be sure," said Yosel as he began to walk towards the lifeless body of Arthur to make sure he was dead.
…
"I've waited for this moment for a very long time," said a figure in a black cloak with an evil grin inside Arthur's head.
Instantly, Arthur's top half of his head was covered with a red layer of thick skin that had large veins all across it. Horns beaming out from two points of his forehead and his eyes having completely morphed to be large yellow pupils. Finally, a large evil grin much like the man in the cloak took over Arthur's face.
