Being Pulled into More Problems

The last thing I remember was a hand grabbing and pulling me upward and then everything became white.

Here I am. In this white room for the past 3 hours sitting on a white couch contemplating what is going to happen next.

"Who was that woman, and how did she know my name....But especially why did her voice seem very familiar"

As I was finally trying to get all my thoughts together. There was a sudden flash of light. As the light started to calm down, want was now in front of me was a white screen with a count down of 15 seconds.

As the numbers start winding down and as it just now reached zero. A man was on the screen. The man was devilishly handsome, with light blond hair and dark blue eyes. Just looking at him could make anyone fall to their knees at his out of the world looks that can catch even men and women by the heart. And now that very man was preparing to say something.

"Testing....Testing....does everyone hear me alright????"

"...Everything is working fine...good, good, and so let us get on with the show."

With a sudden pause the man sudden starts exclaiming:

"WELCOME CONTESTANTS, to the one and only competition of the gods. I am your host, Kane, the god of entertainment and game, and here I am to congratulate all the newly selected contestants for the new competition for the entertainment of us gods."

"1 million individuals were lucky selected at random from many different time periods to participate in such a glorious event for the entertainment of us great gods."

'Just hearing this man talk so full of himself is making me fucking nauseous. Just hurry the fuck up and finish speaking' Adrain thought

"Some people are getting angry. Just a heads up guys we gods can read minds of lower beings so understanding the minds of 1 million lower-beings at the same time is not so hard."

'I just can't take this anymore.'

30 minutes had gone by and it was all just Kane making himself seem so great to us in his attempt as he says to "get more followers".

Now he finally gets to what is needed to be said.

"Well sorry to cut short of the story of my amazing life, it is best to get on track so you all can go on your way. As I said this a competition for the entertainment of us gods. The supreme being started reading some fanfictions online on what you mortals call the internet and he was hooked right away. He gathered a bunch of us Gods to join in the creation of one of these competitions he read about and many loved the idea and here we are now.

"Before you all get your hopes up, you will not get so powerful so easily like all those main characters cause that will just be boring to watch. Your will have to work hard and sweat your ass off to get somewhere in this competition" he said with a cynical grin.

"Now the only way to get an advantage starting off this competition is to get help like a gift or advice from your sponsor who is a God that has taken an interest in you. Some might have one sponsor, some might have many or some might have none, it all depends if you caught the attention of one for the many gods in this competition."

"Now let us get the show on the road. Each individual will be able to spin 3 different wheels. The first wheel is optional, you can decide to risk the chance of changing your appearance to become better looking than before or worse, it is your choice. If you decide to pass on this wheel, the spin will be added to your addition free gacha pull that will be explained after this whole process.

The second wheel gives you your own unique item. It will not be anything extreme like from those anime you watch, it will just be and unique item that belongs to you and can't be lost or removed as it will be soul bound.

Finally, the third wheel is where you get a random ability that could range from common to mystical. [The ranking when it comes to items, abilities and classes will be starting from common at the bottom, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, unique, epic, legendary, mystical, god, and supreme being the highest] It all depends on your luck if you are to get anything good from the wheel.

To those individuals who have sponsors, you might get one or two gifts from your god. If you did end up being one of the lucky few to get a gift, you will realize after spinning the third wheel."

"Now that everything that needed to be said was said, let's start spinning!!!!!"

Suddenly the environment changes to where now I was floating in an empty dark space with 3 big wheels in front of me. Near the third wheel where 2 other items, but they were too blurry to make out at the moment.

Floating towards the first wheel, I decided immediately to not spin it. I was already a good-looking fellow to where if I wanted I could get any girl I want with easy. As I made my decision to not spin this wheel, the wheel suddenly breaks down into white particles. The particles were then absorbed into my body and I get this weird feeling that there is something in me.

Floating towards the second wheel I see many colors on the wheel [gray being common, green being uncommon, blue being rare, red being ultra-rare, yellow being unique, purple being epic, gold being legendary, silver being mythical, black being god tier while white being supreme] As there is nothing much to go by, I just pull the lever and the wheel starts to spin. As the wheel starts to slow down, I can tell it is between a red and a purple, either better than getting common. After a few more seconds, the wheel finally stops and it landed on the purple tile, but surprisingly there is a star at the top corner of it. Landing on a selection, the wheel bursts into purple particles as it now attempts to form something. What forms is what appears to be a golden rope with a knot in the middle and two loose ends. As try examining it more a sudden description appears:

A rope that allows a connection to be made between any sort of pair. In creating that said connection, knowledge can be transferred, skills can be learned, and even physical conditions can be swapped. There is a slight chance for an object to become soul-bound to it's recipient in creating such a connection. Two individuals can even become soul-bound if certain requirements are mean (A/N: Hint, Hint) and it's chances increase as it evolves to it's more perfect state. More features unlock the more it evolves either its rarity or tiers.

'Wow' Adrian thought. 'This seems more like a cheat item than anything.' he thinks as he is trying to hold in his excitement.

However, he sudden calms himself down a bit realizing what Kane said before how this was not an easy competition.

'There must be some drawbacks to this, but for when the time comes I'll figure something else"

Suddenly, the rope bursts into purple particles and then, like the first wheel, the particles were then absorbed into my body.

Now turning towards the third wheel, this wheel is supposedly going to give me a skill unique to me. Hoping for something good, I pull the lever and then the colors start spinning around. Unable to predict what will come out, I just close my eyes not willing to see the outcome of this spin. I hear the wheel start to slow down, my hear speeds up a bit with anticipation. Once I heard that it finally stopped. As I open my eyes, I can see that I landed on a red tile with a star. 'Ultra-rare skill, it isn't that bad.'

After realizing what I landed on, the wheel breaks down into red light particles that were then absorbed into my body.

I suddenly get a load of information that goes to my head. Interpreting what I just got, I couldn't help but slightly smile.

A skill that allows you to take away an object or even skill of an individual within 300 feet (changes as it evolves) and in your field of vision. The perfect skill for a thief, to take their earnings and run away. The only downside is that if the owner of the previous weapon or skill realize that you were the one to have stole their belongings, it will automatically return back to the original owner, unless if there is something to hold it back. Remember with great power comes great responsibility, and it is your responsibility to take as much as you can without getting caught.

'Wow just wow, this can work perfectly with my soul-seeking knot in the future once it becomes strong enough' Adrian thought, smiling realizing the possible outcomes the can come with such a deadly combination.

'Now that I've gotten the everything that was guaranteed, lets now see these so called "gifts" that "gods" have given me..."

As I start hovering towards the two objects, they suddenly become clearer to me, one is a giant wheel similar to the ones we have spun, and the second object was actually a gift box.

'Well then, let's see what I am in for.'
