The Dream Core

Dylan had passed through the black void and reached a place filled with warmth. It had a feeling of nostalgia and blur to it, with a predominant visual. He could feel a series of emotions elapsing upon one another. He could feel happiness, joy, bashfulness, and more that he couldn't explain within this warmth.

"What is this sensation?" Dylan asked.

"You're in a dream. This is a dream," the voice replied.

In that moment, Dylan felt something surge through him. "This is the feeling of endlessness, the feeling of endless good, so this is a dream?" He said it in a relaxed manner, drifting further into the dream.

Dylan went through a series of images—some black and white, some colored, some plain. "What's happening?" he asked.

"The dream core," said the voice.

Dylan didn't understand what the voice meant by "dream core". He wanted to ask but realized the voice had refused to answer some of his previous questions, and he also realized that the one behind the voice was hiding something. So he decided to restrict his questioning.

As Dylan drifted further away from the dream, he noticed something. He was slowly losing the image of the golden bubble and was once again entering a black void. "Again?" he said.

As he drifted out of the void, he noticed that it was similar to the void between the overworlds.

"Dreams are complex. They're endless and not definite in size. The size of a dream is immeasurable. This was just the first of infinite dreams you have yet to see," said the voice.

As they drifted further, Dylan realized that he had reached another dream.

"This is the dream beyond the dream you just witnessed. A dream that surpasses the limits of the dream you had just seen," the voice said again.

"There are always dreams with greater prospect, Dylan, and dreams with lower prospect as well, the greater stands upon the lower." Said the voice

Dylan was in a state of shock, amazed by the greater beauty and warmth of this dream. "Indeed, this dream surpasses the previous dream," he said with a gracious laugh.
