Sang Tian took a few minutes to calm her racing heart and control her breathing before going back to join the Gu siblings and Fang Haoran at the table. When she arrived, he was already seated there, his full concentration on the cell phone in his hand as he pretended to be busy but Sang Tian knew otherwise.

The soft curve of a smug smile on his lips did not go unnoticed by Sang Tian. It was his way of showing that he had won this little challenge that Sang Tian had thrown in his way. She had lied about him being the overpowering and dramatically romantic and he had just made that a reality for her. It was his way of telling her to not mess with him.
