The Sports Festival Arc: Newcoming

Giovanni came to a halt at the entrance to await Roxanne as he heard the students inside screaming with delight and a song booming throughout the campus.

With so many colorful signs and artwork around the school, kids are encouraged to utilize their imagination and create something satisfying in the eyes.

"My name is Gerald, my partner's name is Margarette, and here is our creation," he says as he shows it to one of the school's partial fabrication teachers.

He then pointed to his creation and said, "I call this the Magic Circle Rejuvenator. the design is extremely human, this is used to restore your magic circle to its original form. highly handy if your magic circle is malfunctioning, this gadget will prevent it from continuing to work."

Everyone in the class, including the lecturer, applauds their presentation.

Luccione was taking a glimpse inside the gate, waiting for Roxanne. He then turns around and sees a 13-year-old pair holding hands and a girl resting on their boyfriend's shoulder as they walk.

Even though the sporting event has not yet begun, some people in the gymnasium are already dancing wildly to the music. Outside the academy, street vendors are selling street food, while students in a club are constructing a booth for the club activity. So many people merely strolled past Luccione while he was gazing down at the time.

"So embarrassing," He thinks

"Luccione, have you been waiting for a while, let's hurry," Roxanne remarked as she immediately grabbed Luccione's hand. They entered the school grounds, with Luccione almost slipping out from a sudden tugging. "Wait up, you're moving too quickly," he said.

They are wandering through the academy looking at various types of booths. Kilabooth, for example, has a haunted house theme, a marriage booth, a blind date, a prison booth, a mini-game booth, and so on.

Board games are being played by students from the benches with someone or a group. While walking to the gymnasium, Luccione and Roxanne purchase two ice cream cones.

"This is more exciting than the former sports festival I attended back on earth," Roxanne remarks.

"Really? well, this area is wonderful for sure, to be honest, I think this is my first ever festival even before my previous life. though, I still remember this before I receive my blessing. but back then, I was just a nobody hiding in the corner," Luccione explained.

"I know right, I guess the first time we saw each other was when I lost in a bottle game and got a dare to chat to you for 5 minutes straight," Roxanne says with a smile.

"Yeah, I remember it; I knew that there was something wrong with the whole thing, but we had a great time chatting to each other," Luccione says.

Out of nowhere, a megaphone announced "THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE GRADE 5 WILL BE ARRESTED. BETTER RUN FOR YOUR LIFE OR PREPARE TO READY YOUR PRISON PASS. TO THOSE WHO HAVE NONE CAN BUY IT FOR 15 COPPER!!!"

Following that, another Megaphone announced, "May I call on Roxanne Soberano from grade 6 - B and Jan Lester Miller from grade 6 - C, your wedding begins in 20 minutes, please go to Building No. ####. Welcome to Marriage Booth!"

After hearing it, Luccione becomes envious. "My best friend is pretty famous, right? Ms. Vice President," he replied smugly.

Sighs Roxanne... "It can't be helped, I feel horrible for him if I don't come to his request; I have to go to the wedding; you know, you can join my wedding," she added.

"I would rather not," Luccione remarked, but in his mind "I don't know what I would do if I saw them shooting pictures with wedding garb and a cake."

Roxanne notices Luccione's jealousy and avoidance of her eye contact.

"Hmm... you said it." Roxanne gets the feeling he is sulking

"Luccione, you can wait for me at the Gymnasium Entrance after 20 minutes, later..." Roxanne stated as she walk to the wedding booth room.

Luccione looks around the busy crowd as he thinks about what to do now. suddenly a screaming is heard behind him.

"AAHHH!"

"You can run, but you can't hide," said the kidnappers working on the prison booth as he was chasing an 8th grader. then 8th grader flew on top of Luccione and the wind pressure caused a disturbance to the area.

"Eyy that's cheating," said the booth member

Luccione was already beside him and he did hear what the dude says, so he started a conversation.

"Bro, You gonna give up?" Luccione asked him.

He noticed Luccione beside him and said "I was tired a while ago, I already caught five 5th graders by now". Inside Luccione mind, he was thinking "let me guess, five female 5th graders"

He then looks at Luccione and recognizes him "Hey, I know you. you're the elementary department Vice president's boyfriend right?" he asked

"Nah bro, we are friends since a long time ago. before she was elected as VP"

"Dude, if I were you, I would never let her go. we're gonna do it as soon as possible" he said after a short delay he applied "Hey, you received blessings right?"

Luccione answers "don't worry, I'm young in body but I have an old brain"

the guy laugh...

"I haven't introduced myself, haven't I? the name is Mark Angelito from grade 6 - A, you are?" Mark asked

"I am Luccione from grade 6 - B, nice to meet you" Luccione greeted

both of them shake hands. but Mark Angelito has no plans to let go of Luccione's hand, both are already holding for a minute.

Luccione asked, "what are you doing?"

Suddenly a megaphone is heard " EHEM, THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE GRADE 6 -B AND LOWER WILL BE ARRESTED. BETTER RUN OR PREPARE TO READY YOUR PRISON PASS. THOSE WHO HAVE NONE CAN BUY IT FOR 15 COPPER!!!"

A few moments later at the wedding booth.

The photographer took a photo with Roxanne wearing a white wedding dress and Lucky Jan Lester doing heart shape hand side by side. Another picture for the cake slicing photo with Roxanne doing the pose.

Jan Lester was thanking her for doing this and that he admires her. Roxanne said "No worry, thank you for admiring me. It's also my job to give you good memories at Lamborn academy"

After the marriage event is over, Roxanne went to the Gymnasium to see Luccione wasn't even there.

"Where did Luccione go, maybe he's hitting on another girl" is what she imagine, but boys will always be boys.

inside the prison booth, Luccione is being tortured by splashing water, a difficult obstacle course, and constant shouting.

AHHHHHH!!!

AARRGGGGG!!!

{NARRATOR} the Prison booth is an attraction where the members are divided into 2, the one inside guarding the prison and the one abducting people when a person that is supposed to be taken had a prison pass and want to use it, by giving it to the kidnapper means being safe for the current grade coding targets. If you have non of those prison pass, the kidnappers will take you to the prison booth itself, and there you have to complete the obstacle course to escape, but it is expected that you will escape wet and deaf because of the toxic environment.

The group guarding the prisoners keeps shouting and using water at us poor prisoners. and the prisoners keep pushing each other inside the starting point, which doesn't help the situation.

AAAHHHHH!!!

GOOOOOO!!!

Luccione had no choice but to walk through the obstacle course, crossing the tight pathway surrounded by strings, a 15-bar Jungle gym, with a 4 ft. pool of water under the course.

there is even a part in the attraction where men are going to punch you with boxing gloves, and the atmosphere is getting hotter when you reach the end.

Luccione was exhausted and thirsty when out of nowhere Mark Angelito pour him a bucket of full water

"What an asshole, I was in the end already" Luccione shouted

"You're thirsty aren't you, take a sip on your shirt" Mark Suggested

"No crackhead that's disgusting!" Luccione shouted at him and he started planning how to beat the final obstacle course. a lot of prisoner gets knocked out on the boxing obstacle. some of them weren't able to do 1 attempt on the jungle gym and has to go back and do it again.

The final is not that hard, you just have to step on the wooden plank that is constantly moving back and forth, you have to time the steps and you can't stay on that plank for too long because it will move back into the wall.

At first, Luccione thought of a shortcut to do the wind magic and fly, but the whole booth is imbued by a magic circle that makes us unable to do magic.

Luccione looks at the top and said "damn it, it won't work I just have to climb up the 4-meter-tall wall,"

inside Luccione mind "Ohh, f*** me"

Meanwhile, Roxanne heard in the prison booth announcement that Luccione was captured, she was just waiting at the exit for another 15 minutes.

"Why did he let himself get caught," she thinks

Roxanne was going through the gates from the Highschool department.

Luccione found himself on a 3rd-floor balcony where there is a magic circle to step on and a sign saying "you are free to go"

Luccione stepped on the magic circle and activates itself teleporting him to the different magic circles located on the ground floor.

The moment Luccione went down, Roxanne was behind him and surprises him.

"Gotcha!"

Luccione automatically thinks it was the booth members and accidentally finishes the incantation he held back. and flew Roxanne off to the nearest school pool.

"why would you do that for?" asks Roxanne, she was upset.

.....

apparently, Luccione took a long time on the wall obstacle, and the other prisoners it's getting near the final obstacle. he just climb up on the wooden plank that he calculated would bring him to the top quickly. but it was too late, the other prisoner pulled his legs and they tried going up.

Luccione who was on the ground keeps pounded off by the prisoners who fall down the obstacle. and had no choice but to wait until everyone is exhausted enough to stop continuing anymore. during that time he chants incomplete wind magic to avoid getting caught by the kidnappers.

"Why would you think that? We're on high school grounds, nobody will chase us here," Roxanne adds, still enraged.

With a smug expression, Luccione says, "Now we're both wet, that's fair right?"

Roxanne is becoming more irritated, and Luccione, who was initially making a smug expression, now makes an apologetic face.

"I'M SORRY!"

Later that day, both of them walk back to the Elementary section, with Roxanne wiping the sweat from her skin and clothes with Luccion's body handkerchief.

Luccione, who observed her doing it, mistakenly said that she looked lovely in her gown.

Roxanne gently turns her reddish face toward Luccione, unable to explain the compliment he has just muted out.

"W-what are you saying?" Roxanne asked, blushing.

Roxanne attempted to cover her face from him, but in doing so, Luccione became aware of Roxanne's unusual conduct.

"Wait, did I just say that out loud?"

Roxanne, who was both self-conscious and flattered, tried to reject it, saying, "No, no, not at all." Without thinking, she responded as if she knew exactly what he meant.

She averted Luccione's eye contact and attempted to walk in front of him, thinking it was too late.

"I apologize if my compliment came as a surprise; it's just that it's the first time I've praised someone who isn't a member of my family."

"I didn't say it by accident earlier; I just thought that it had to be the proper time, I think."

"I apologize if that did not go well and you found it creepy."

Roxanne disagrees with his assumption; in fact, she thinks to herself, "Why would you think of that? Of course, I'd like that."

Roxanne tried to make a joke about it, saying, "Of course it's creepy, I'm 10," and Luccione responded, "Well, I'm 9."

They both smile.

"This blessing thing is getting out of control," Roxanne comments.

"I know, I never thought I'd say such embarrassing words as a kid," Luccione admitted.

"WHAT IZ UP LAMBORNIANS! THE SPORT IS FINALLY SET AND THE BOOTH ATTRACTION IS NEARING ITS CLOSE" someone mentions using the academy speaker system.

"Quick, let's go to the Gymnasium the main event is about to start," Roxanne said

We all hurried all the way to the Gymnasium, where we saw all the booths ready to close. Fortunately, the stalls closed when the main event takes place.

"THE SPORTS FESTIVAL WILL BE A 3 DAY EVENT, STARTING TODAY UNTIL TUESDAY AT 12 OCLOCK IS ABOUT INDOOR GAMES, TUESDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL WEDNESDAY AT 12 OCLOCK IS ABOUT OUTDOOR GAMES, AND THE LAST PERIOD WILL BE FOR THE AWARDING CEREMONY."

While forming a line, all of the pupils are thrilled.

"NOW THAT THE BOOTH IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED, EVERYONE LINE UP TO YOUR GRADE SECTION AS THE PARADE WILL BEGIN OUTSIDE THE CAMPUS."

"THE PARADE WILL INITIATE BY THE GRADE 6-A DOWN TO GRADE 3-C."

In a line, a girl and a boy are made separately. Luccione, who was in grade 6-B line, was separated from Roxanne, who was the front representative for the student council. He then noticed 6-A students, notably Mark Angelito.

"That clever bastard, we'll beat your section," Luccione thinks.

"I had never done something like this before, if I can't be a cockfighter in my previous life, at least now I can change that. Juaquin, my former father, I will assure you I will be having a wonderful time in my second life"

"LET THE SPORTS FESTIVAL BEGINS!!!"
