LGBT genre School is fun, in terms that, I sit in class, study, get high grades and I'm the teachers' pet. It is a safe position for a bookworm like me. This is my definition of fun. Today is another typical day for me. The same routine as every other weekday. I wake up, dress, eat, and go to school. Most importantly I put on my glasses.
I am not particularly tall, you could say I am short for my age. At 17 the late tender age of getting a growth spurt just never had one. I can't complain. I am content with who I am. Currently, I am in my final year of high school. Hurray for that.
I don't get along with many classmates but am confident that I am the teacher's best student. Teacher's pet. My desk-mate John is especially rude and irritating. Apart from him due to the unavoidable circumstances I don't think I ever caught on everyone's names. Classes are slow-going and at times noisy.
Breaks are the worst. I never have any peace. There is that delinquent cursing at everyone he meets and there is the girl who claims to be pretty and those boys there ganging up around her. The definition of pretty must have lost meaning, seriously. I think her name is Maggie… probably. That is what they call her. The Barbie of our class. There is no natural alluring from her. All makeup clumsily put together. I would say plastic surgery would be an improvement from her present look.
Sacred Heart High School is the name of the school. It is not the best in the country, but it is a school one would envy to be at. I am here not for my financial capability but on scholarship. I was personally awarded for getting the best results in the region. In other words, I am not the best but the better student.
Oh, so far I have not talked about my family. It's not a topic I would be open on but I guess it is part of the introduction. I was raised never knowing about my birth parents, either they died or still alive has always been a mystery. I was raised by my adoptive parents who later abandoned me. But luckily I got to meet a very supportive uncle who left the world last year.
For a few months I made ends meet and got on fine recently.
