Epilogue

10 YEARS LATER

"Ivy, Trixie, you get your butts back here!" I yelled as my twin girls had run out of the tub naked to play tag in the house. I chased after them as the three year old girls ran holding eachother's hands. Ivy took the lead practically dragging her sister. Ivy was gold with blue eyes, and white hair; Her sister was pink with matching blue eyes and white hair. They were racing for the front door, oh no. "Oliver! Your daughters are heading for the front door!" I yelled. My husband ran down the hallway through the kitchen and to the front door to keep the girls from escaping. The girls were shocked at his sudden appearance and Trixie fell down, thus bringing her sister down with her. They both started bawling. Both of us picked up seperate naked toddlers. I put Trixie in her unicorn robe, and Ivy in her batman robe. I gave my husband Oliver a peck on the cheek. "Nice catch." I said.

"Mom are you done chasing the twins?" My eldest son Milo whined. He was he was red, with one orange eye and one blue, and like my daughters he had white hair as well. "I have a question, a really good one." he said.

Let me fill you in...

After about five years of being famous, I found that once again I was made to be an image not my own person. People no longer saw me as a monster; they saw me as an idol, I simply wanted to be seen as human. Then I met Oliver Moon. I went to a costume party dressed as myself (everyone thought I was someone else in a costume of the famous iridescent woman). I walked over to the bar, to get another drink, when I bumped into a tall blue man with clouded eyes one pink, and one green and shaven blue hair. It caused him to drop his martini shattering the glass on the floor. I panicked apologizing up and down. To escape any fury or fight, I went to my new go to move. "I am sorry. I will give you my autograph, so don't be mad." I said. "Lady why on Earth would I want your signerature just buy me a new drink." he said. After hearing that, I was hooked. He was completely blind, but that wasn't a disadvantage for him, in fact that's what made me fall for him. This man couldn't tell whether I was an irredescent model or a white monster. We spent the rest of that party talking to eachother. Even after the party was over we spent every waking moment together. It wasn't for another week that I told him why I tried to pay him with my signerature. He was shocked that despite knowing so much about me already, that he hadn't figured out I was famous. We were married within six months, and within a month of being married, we had become pregnant. After we found out, we went to the country and bought a big house. Nine months later I had a son who had my white hair. Auntie Olive was determined to be the favorite aunt, so she decided to compete with my now sister in-law Julia for the title of "Favorite Aunt". Though since she and Robert had three sons already, Olive had a bit more attention to give. Ed was simply happy to have a grandchild. A year and a half later we were blessed with twin girls, both sporting snow top hair too.

I had become everything I ever wanted to be, and all of those things were only ever meant for me to give my family. My BLUE was to answer simply, when children ask things you can't explain to young minds. Also how to win all arguments against your spouse. The RED gave me the courage to defend my family, sometimes it gave me the strength not to kill them after being asked "why?" twenty times. The GOLD allowed me to push three children out of me, and to keep up with them when they learned to walk. The GREEN allowed me to make a family in the first place. True to green's nature my family is healthy and happy. The YELLOW is being able to laugh when you need the help of a blind man to catch two naked toddlers. The PINK is what keeps my family together all of the love and kindness I can manage to give, when they aren't driving me nuts.

I would like to think my PURPLE is why all of my children are so good looking, but I may be biased. My ORANGE, well I think this whole novel, if not this one page shows you what that did.

BACK TO NOW

"MOM MOM Stop spacing out!" Milo yelled. I stopped thinking of how I got my family, and focused on them right now. We all sat in the living room I held a groggy robed Ivy in my arms, while Oliver had an already sleeping Trixie sprawled across his chest. Milo stood in front of me pouting. "I'm sorry honey. What was your really good question?" I asked Milo.

"Do all of the Moon's have white hair cept' dad?" he asked. "Your right Skittle that is a very good question." I said, "Well daddy doesn't have any white, because only my kids get to have white hair. White isn't a definitive color. It's kind of like white is where all of the colors that you earn but don't have go. Maybe one day you will be a clown and be super silly, but that would be like yellow, or you could be a model like mommy was and that would be like purple. So white means that if you work hard enough even if you don't have the colors you think you need to go places and do things...you still have a chance. It is all up to how hard you work. Because Milo; you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
