After the woman pulled me aside, her face began to look somewhat familiar. It reminded me of a famous ballerina, but I couldn't tell.
"So, are you the one he likes?" she asked as I saw her bright, lapis blue eyes.
"Who?"
"My brother, silly!"
"Who IS your brother?"
"He's tall, he's nice and he wears glasses." she said with an annoyed look.
"Brock?" I said as my face lit up red like a fire hydrant.
"Yes. Do you like him or no?" she asked and looked as if she just realized something. "You do like him!" this time, she trapped me in a tight hug.
'Talk about weird family members.' I thought as she let me go and signalled for me to go back in.
I walked back over to the table and picked up my book.
"Brock. Do have anything to do this afternoon?" the woman asked.
"Not really." Brock said as Evan looked a little pissed in the background.
"Lucinda, what about you?" she turned to me.
"No." I said.
"I don't either, so enjoy your date!"
"WHAT?!" Brock and I said in almost complete unison.
"Beatrice, what the hell?" Brock said as he stood up.
"I'm helping you both out." the woman who's name was apparently Beatrice said as she pulled us both closer together.
I managed to move away from her, but she tensed up like Sam when she grabbed me again. I pictured a few moments I'd had with Sam before and laughed after thinking of her facial expressions. Sam must've knew I was thinking about her facial expressions of when she was mad, because she sent a strong slap to the back if my neck.
"OW!" I yelled as I held onto my neck.
"I've seen that face before. Don't use me as amusement."
"It's difficult not to. Your facial expressions are hilarious."
