Zenith POV

I knew this was coming and I'm prepared for everything.

But I wasn't prepared how emotionally it would impact me to see my little sister, crippled and blind like this, and what made matters worse is that my little brother, even though I knew this was going to happen, doing a very stupid thing to confront our father.

Sometimes I really think Lelouch is stupid for all of his intelligence, when it comes to his sister and mother is emotions always makes him do the stupidest things.

But the die has been cast soon, both my brother, Lelouch and my sister Nunnally will be sent off to Japan as political hostages.

Throughout these years, I've grown quite attached to both of them. I love them dearly as I did my other siblings I was close to and yet it still hurt to see them leave.

Myself, Cornelia, Clovis, Euphemia, Guinevere, Schneizel and Odysseus all of us watched as they left for Japan.

Euphemia what's the most heartbroken, she was being comforted by Cornelia.

I my self was silently, crying without making noise but Guinevere knowing I am extremely sad to see them leave the best thing she could do was give me a hug has I cried silently on her shoulder.

By the time the plane was out of sight, everyone of the imperial family that came went back to the respectable homes Guinevere drove me home since I was too much of a emotional wreck to do it myself.

The other source of my sadness is that within the same month before the empress was killed my mother was assassinated, leaving me as the only member of house xi The older members of the house were killed two weeks before my mother was killed.

My mother's death hit me like a brick and top it all off with both Lelouch and Nunnally being sent away made this year almost unbearable, because I thought I was prepared for this life, but these tragic events have proven me not as prepared as I thought it was.

Unlike the Empress, I already knew who killed my family. It was one of my other brothers, who wanted to eliminate the competition to the throne, and once I found out who was responsible, I did the typical birthday present bomb which disturbingly enough actually fuck it worked.

I killed the bastard, responsible, and yet I wasn't satisfied in the least I lost my mother, I lost my uncles and my brother and my sister how much more do I have to lose?

Even knowing I know, these events would occur. I allowed it to happen in order to gain advantage over the others and yet I kill someone else who is doing the exact same thing, taking advantage of a situation to move themselves higher in station to get the throne.

Zenith: why can't everything go back to where it was? Why can I just live out my life in happy bliss I wish everything you just go back to where it was as if I had a reset button.

For eight days, I mourn the loss of my family and right then and there I swore everything would change I would not let the twisted shit that happened in Canaan happen. This time I will change the future and I will be the emperor of this nation and no one will get in my way. This I swear.

Somewhere in the countryside of Britannian

C.C POV

It is shocking, and yet not surprising throughout all my life I should've seen this coming after all life is full betrayals.

The death of Marianne by V.V made it to where I couldn't trust anyone again for a little while I thought I could put my faith in people again.

Now here I am trying to sneak out of the country towards the Chinese Federation in order to get out of the Geass order influence and V.Vs Living a long life, as an immortal, makes it hard for you to forget certain things, such as old escape route throughout the countryside other people have forgotten about just a few more days and I'll be out of the country.

However, before I knew it, I was surrounded by soldiers in camo gear it appears they were very good at their job since I could not notice that until they were right upon me, however, what came next gave me a surprise after living so long.

That the boy that I saw often at Marianne's children birthday parties whenever I visit secretly at her mansion however, the boy has grown up since the last time I saw him.

Zenith: C.C i'm afraid you are not leaving this country until I get what I want from you.

I was shocked that the boys knew my name. Well the name I have been using for the past several many years.

C.C: then tell me, boy, what is it that you want from me?

I could see his eye twitched when I called him boy, it seems like I poked a nerve I always had enjoyment of teasing others.

Zenith: shut up witch i'm going to save us both a lot of trouble. You are going to make a contract with me in exchange I will help you get out of the country using my vast resources and connections I also know the secret, the one that my father hides about geass.

I did not show it, but I was shocked, even more that the boy I knew about geass and from the sound of it, he knows more than he lets on especially when he asked for a contract, which means he knows I can give him geass.

C.C: you would be willing to enter a contract with me, even knowing the consequences of receiving the power?

I asked him in order to know how far he's willing to go to get this cursed power astral the power of the king will lead you down to a life of solitude as it did me so long ago.

Zenith: yes, I'm aware of the consequences. However, I need the edged that the power can give me besides if necessary you can think of me as a back up in case your other contracts later down the line fail for you it's a win-win scenario.

The boy spoke of the facts, and not once was there a hint of arrogance in his voice, when compared to his other siblings in my own opinion, it is a massive improvement. However, there's also implies that he knows my greatest wish how he knows I do not know.

After thinking about it, I saw no real downside to it so i accepted his conditions for the contract. Then I brought out my hand for him to take.

Third person POV

Zenith takes C.C hand then, in the next moment he was taken into a Mindscape, where the contract was signed between him, and her basically the same thing that happened between her and Lelouch, when they made a contract.

The terms of the contract are set should her other contracts fail he would fulfill her greatest wish.

for Zenith there was no hesitation, he accept the contract, and how there is the connection between the two are formed between a code bearer, and her geass user.

Zenith returns to his own body then once he opens up his eyes on his right side, the symbol of geass is shown in bright red.
