Some time had passed again...

Many things happened.

The governments of the world had many projects and the government funds are not enough to proceed with everything at the same time.

But nobody wanted to be left behind in this technological race.

That's why most of them, especially the capitalist countries, started letting big corporations join the projects.

In exchange for more funding, the companies would be able to get some share or some technological results that they could use commercially while also becoming the exclusive provider of raw materials that the projects needed.

But the governments still did not let the companies have more influence and made it so that their shares would be very scattered on many projects and away from the very important ones.

Specifically, the space elevator.

This will be the government's cash cow because it would produce huge amounts of energy for civilian use while they would be able to dedicate all their Sakuradites to being exclusive to the military and other things that needed Sakuradite.

Britannia did better in almost everything though, by the virtue of AA, of course.

AA upgraded the space-worthy fighter plans into full pledge mobile armors.

It is now being mass-produced by Britannia.

This mobile armor looks like Mobius Zero but still has an atmospheric flight capability, it is a bit faster than even the Tristan prototype that AA previously made. It is equipped with two low-powered, medium-ranged, and high penetration laser guns at the front together with a few physical missiles hanging in the wings.

Yeah, it still has wings, it is to accommodate the atmospheric flight capability that it has.

The wings are only really used for atmospheric flight though and they can be removed for space flight and replaced with two more laser guns that are fixed directly on the sides, unlike the first two laser guns which are fixed below the cockpit.

AA also quickly finished making the blueprints for a space elevator, of course, he had help from Veda for the calculations and precision that is needed.

When asked how he made it so fast, his excuse is that he long ago thought about making one but was limited with the currently available materials at that time so he just let things be.

Everyone just accepted that bullsh*t though, like it was as expected, especially Charles who knows that AA is someone who lived for a long time now, he even thought that AA must have thought about making it already for quite a while now.

Anyways, the political climate of the world is still the same.

There are still skirmishes between America and Britannia happening in New Zealand, while Britannia got stuck in Japan after America decided to support it against Britannia using supplies and trade agreements.

America did not give any weapons to Japan though.

Because of the invasion of Britannia, the eyes of everyone in Japan are now being slowly opened to what is happening outside their country.

India has another prospect for the E-carbon though, they started making a bigger robot already.

And they are about to succeed based on the prototypes that they are sending on the front lines.

It was only a meter or two higher than the current Knightmare frames but they finally put a head in their machines, they did not bother removing the faces in the torso of their designs though.

They thought that their Hindu god's faces are trademarks of Indian-made mechs and that it was cool.

Being cool was everything after all.

People made robots because it was cool, otherwise, they would have just made bigger cannons and bigger bombs, the other practical reasons are quite minimal that it can be considered bullsh*t.

No one had just noticed it yet or ever but everyone subconsciously chooses to make better robots instead of stronger direct weapons.

Especially after that demonstration of Marianne where she decimated an army by herself.

AA at this time made a particular breakthrough in technology.

It is kind of like black technology but also not because of the current technology he has which let him be able to make it.

It is virtual reality!

He fcking made a virtual reality!

And it is not because of a Eureka moment or anything like that, it was like a sure-ball thing after he got the man-machine interfacing technology!

He first made the man-machine interfacing technology usable for everyone though.

That experiment is where most of all those death row prisoners he got are headed before and now they are all going to other experiments after the technology is finally made.

Then the man-machine interfacing technology was transformed into virtual technology in the shape of a helmet connected to a giant apparatus.

AA made this virtual reality technology because he wanted to personally interact with his children that are far away from him right now.

He feels like the children might get used to the android and start thinking that their dad is a robot if he used it to interact with them, that is why the virtual reality.

The thing needed a huge quantum computer to work properly at first though, that's why the helmet like the thing was connected to a giant apparatus, that is the quantum computer.

After a series of tests for alternatives.

AA with the help of Veda managed to discover the alternative of dreams and memories.

Every human has memories and can dream which can be used as some kind of data for the resources to use in the virtual world.

You can think of it like this.

Someone's memory of grass together with the grass he dreamed about before might be blurry when seen using virtual technology.

But what if you use the memory and dreams of many humans and save all of this information into a quantum server that has a really large storage space.

You would not only be able to completely make up the 3D image of the grass.

You would also be able to feel it up and hear the sound it makes when it brushes up your skin or even taste it if you are dumb enough to test how it tastes.
