Back to the present...

Some time had passed again...

"Eunalia..." AA called out to Eunalia who is beside himself.

The two of them are currently sitting on a couch, side by side, with a coffee table at the front and a TV a bit further.

The television is again showing a mansion.

This time, it is Eunalia's mansion.

"Alister... Can't you really not do anything about not taking Cornelia with us?" Eunalia weakly said with teary eyes and both hand clasped together while looking at the TV.

"Sigh... I really can't do that right now." AA said with a wry smile.

When AA took Eunalia's family to escape, Cornelia was not with them.

It was because she was starting to get some responsibilities now to train her as one of the candidates to the throne.

So Eunalia only has Dragneel, Lacus and Euphemia with them in this hidden island mansion right now.

It is quite fortunate that the three are asleep already as it really isn't pleasant to watch a supposed attempt to their lives on TV even if they are safe already, specially since they are only kids right now.

"You should tell everything you can about us being safe to Cornelia cause she will be very devastated when she get's the news.

In fact, could you maybe, just arrange for us to have a video call instead later, instead of you informing her?

Cause with her personality, I don't think she would listen to you when you inform her about our situation, Cornelia would surely want to forcefully meet with us to make sure that we are safe.

Sigh...

That girl, even if she tries to act tough, she's a softy inside." Eunalia said in a gloomy tone with watery eyes while staring at the TV, it's like, she does not want to miss everything that is happening and wants to burn it in her memory.

"Fine, I can do that, I think, I can just surprise Cornelia with secretly setting up things on a private place.

Though, I wouldn't be able to stay with you until before you go out of Britannia though.

You guys will be directly going to space instead of doing a buffer like what Flora did because you would really not need training like her.

I would also not be able to tell you most of my secrets personally though.

But I can let you have access to my private server where I archive most of the important things in my head." AA said, again with a wry smile.

'The information that you would be able to browse would be quite limited though.

But I won't be telling you that, cause you are smart enough to guess some things base on what I show you.' AA thought inwardly with a bit of cautiousness even when he really trusts Eunalia. 'Some things, would endanger people just by knowing.

Although everything I hid deeply are not that exaggerated, they still have some amount of danger in them.'

"Hmm... Cough!" Eunalia hummed with a slightly hoarse throat that made cough a bit.

"Alright, drink something. You had not drank anything since you got here and that was hours ago.

I took you here very early in the morning and it's already night time.

You also only had a bit of lunch from before.

You should eat too.

What would you like to have?

I'm gonna make you something fantastic in a jiffy." AA said with style as he stood up and looked at Eunalia who put her attention to him so he squirmed his eyebrows to look funny and to lighten the heavy feelings in his woman's heart.

"Sigh... Fine, impress me, master chef." Eunalia said with a slight smile indicating that she get's it.

"Ha! I would make you explode! Hehehe...

Funny aside.

I also cooked something for Flora when I got her here.

And I made her a full American quarter pounder Double BIG burger with hot sauce and cheese plus bacon and a few other things.

I don't bother remembering some things that I find unimportant.

She manage to properly bite through it successfully though.

And I remember that, cause that's important, for me." AA said with both hand in his waist before winking to Eunalia and walking into the kitchen as he did not bother waiting for Eunalia to say anything back.

After AA got into the kitchen, in the meanwhile, Eunalia just kept watching the show on the TV screen.

Cause it is already starting.

There are already some shadows moving in the surrounding of the mansion.

The attackers this time did not bother being more cautious though.

After they got into their positions, they directly started their operation.

Started with throwing smoke bombs and flashbangs into the windows of the mansion.

All of them this time are more well equipped than the one who attacked Flora though.

They all have gas mask and nightvision goggles, their weaponry are also quite advance and expensive while their vests and uniforms are also well made.

Although they seemed to have not brought any high explosives though...

"Hey Alister! Why are this guys not using explosives?!" Eunalia asked with some puzzlement.

"Oh about that?! I forgot to tell you earlier but this guys only wanted to kidnap you guys cause one of the countries in the middle east that still had not surrender to Britannia wanted some kind of leverage!

Those idiots thought that Charles would back down with just that!

Ha!" AA shouted back from the kitchen as the sound of his doings in the kitchen sounded in the background.

"Really?! How did they get inside of Britannia then?!" Eunalia said in a bit of alarm.

"Huh?! You did not get any details from Flora about the guys who wanted to kill her and her daughters?!" AA asked in a puzzled tone.

"Yes! Both Marianne and I did not bother asking much about that cause we felt that it was a sore spot for Flora at the time and we kinda forgot to ask in the next few times we contacted her together.

Sigh... What the facts...

What the heck had we been doing?" Eunalia said with a bit of an exclamation for that big oversight on her part as she really thought of herself as a person who is details oriented.
