Some time passed again...

In the hidden island base from before, inside the mansion.

Two adults sat on a couch side by side as they watched the show on the television at the front.

This two is AA and Flora Mel Britannia, scratch that, She is not Surnamed Britannia anymore.

They calmly watched as they sipped some coffee as it is already quite pass midnight, Flora's two kids, Maribel and Julia, are already sleeping in one of the bedrooms of this mansion.

They day had been quite hectic for them all.

"Hey, Flora. Have you decided on what to do from now on?" AA asked with a soft smile as he look at her with care.

"I don't know yet... I feel like I just want to continue driving vehicles.

You know, driving makes all my negative emotions go away." Flora said with slight sadness as her's and her children's life is about to change into something else entirely.

She just stares at the television while talking to AA, as if she does not want to miss what is going on in the show.

But the weird thing is, there is nothing interesting being shown in the television for quite a while now.

It just shows the scenery of a mansion from an eagle's eye point of view.

"Alright then you can do that.

I am going to tell you most of my secrets after watching what is about to unfold." AA said with a mysterious and bright smile as he tried lightening up the mood by acting cool.

*Broken glasses noise

Then they heard the sound of glasses breaking from the TV so they put more of their attention into it.

*Bratatatata!

*Boom!

Some gunshots sounded and an explosion was heard then the whole mansion was suddenly on fire.

If people looks closely at the screen, they would see that there are some shadowy figures moving in the surrounding of the mansion moving around it cautiously and stealthily.

This shadowy figures are of course people, armed people.

Their target is of course Flora's family of three but they are now safe with AA some place far away from this mansion in the TV screen.

This people are quite properly armed and their equipment does not have any obvious markings in it, others would need to take some of their guns and vests to find something.

This people weirdly enough did not go inside the mansion and just stayed outside even before the explosion happened.

They just fired from outside into the windows and threw some smoke bombs and flashbangs into the windows of the upper floor of the mansion.

And when the explosion happened, they started throwing more bombs, this time, the kind that deals huge amounts of property damage.

This mansion is near the capital and most definitely near other Royal family members, specifically, the concubines.

But there is no country or government personnel in sight.

They are not showing up at all even after a few minutes after the loud explosion.

"Hey, Alister?! Where did that explosion come from?!" Flora exclaimed with some shiver after seeing the explosion happen from inside the mansion even when the hostiles have not gone inside yet.

"It came from one of the gifts your daughter received, it's the one from her classmates.

That's why I told you to not open any gifts no matter what.

It's already quite dangerous that I allowed you to receive the gifts you know.

I was really nervous earlier, if not for knowing that the bomb was not made to have a remote trigger then I would really have just taken you guys much earlier before our daughter's party even started.

Thankfully, it's just timed for pass midnight and rigged to explode when opened.

You know, I really wanted to just let my precious daughter have this one last grand party because she might not experience this kind of thing later or she can but in a disguised state instead.

Sigh...

My poor lovely daughters already experiencing dangers in life even when they are still too young." AA said with a sad face and a pout in an exaggerated way to make it comical and make Flora more relaxed by lightening the mood with his antics.

Flora's horror and terror filled heart was definitely eased because of that as she stopped shivering and her expression became a wry smile.

With a sigh, she really felt the relief come to her.

She can imagine what could have happened if not for AA being there to save her and her two daughters.

Just the thought of it makes her really scared.

But that's also where the feeling of relief comes from.

Relief from being safe, relief from having AA.

It took a few seconds for her to calm down together with a hug from AA.

"You good?" AA asked while hugging her as he also caress her back to make her relax more.

"Hmmm..." Flora just hummed in agreement.

Flora is really quite thankful for giving herself to AA right now, because even if she acts much more manly than most man, she is still a human woman through and through that, genetically proven, needed security in their lives to live happily.

After calming down, Flora then started feeling anger instead of becoming serene as she hugged AA tighter.

Her fear for her and her two daughters dying was replaced with the thought of her daughters being in danger just a few hours ago.

And that too, in her own home!

'Fcking shts! Arrghh!' She thought inwardly as she remembered those people who attacked the mansion.

"Who are they, Alister?" Flora asked with a neutral tone in her voice but deep inside she is seething with anger.

"Just some terrorist from a nearby country teaming up with other people outside Britannia that wanted to get some revenge on the emperor or just wanted to hurt him in anyway possible." He said nonchalantly.

"Damn it! How did they get inside Britannia then? And those weapons!" Flora said a bit loudly while still hugging AA, but this time, much tighter.

"Charles let them get inside.

It's either to deal with me or warn me.

He is getting impatient with his plan to have me into his side because up until now, I have always been my own side." AA said in neutral cold tone.

"Damn you Charles!" Flora said loudly as she finally started sobbing as even her anger has no real target in sight, because she thinks that she can't fight with the emperor and she felt that she can't have AA fight the emperor for her too.

So she can only cry from frustrations.
