Cobra Kai: Under the Cobra Emblem

When I was young, I was diagnosed with an eye condition that dimmed the vibrant colors of the world around me. Many years later, after a surgery restored the vision I had lost, something happened that changed my life forever. From that day on, I immersed myself in training, learning all kinds of martial arts. Years later, when it seemed I couldn’t find my light, many friendships began to change my life.

The Fight on the School Courts (1)

"What happens if I refuse?"

Ryan looked at Kyler with a mocking smile on his face and pointed at himself. "Then I'll be the one fighting you, and trust me, you don't want that."

"If you leave now, no one will know except for us. It's that or admit you're really scared of Miguel." Max knew Miguel had improved a lot in fighting, enough to beat this foolish guy.

The truth was, he didn't know why Miguel had frozen during the last fight, but he was sure it wouldn't happen again if given another chance.

Even so, he wasn't entirely confident as he saw the dejected look on Miguel's face.

"Will you really stay out of my fight with this idiot?"

"No, it'll be one-on-one. If you lose, we'll leave you alone. If you win, you'll fight me." Ryan pointed at himself while smirking at Kyler.

"At least I'll get the satisfaction of kicking this idiot's face."

"Stop calling me an idiot, dog face." Miguel responded to Kyler for the first time with a rather mild insult.

"What about them?" Kyler pointed to his friends behind him.

Ryan thought for a moment and then said, "They don't matter. My friends will take care of them. Now, let's get out of here."

When Ryan said this, Kyler was dragged through the hallways, while two guys stayed back in the locker room to deal with the bullies, and, of course, they'd enjoy the experience of roughing them up.

Once outside, Max glanced at Devon and Tory, who were standing in the distance. "Will you join the show?"

"Now?"

"We've captured Blackbeard. Of course, we're doing it now so we can leave this place." Max followed the group while Devon caught up with him to find out what had happened so far.

When the girls learned what Kyler had done, they couldn't help but look at him with a certain degree of disdain.

No one would feel sorry for that idiot who was not only playing with his current girlfriend but had also beaten his friends as a group.

"Hope you're good at taking hits."

"If the fight's fair, I can handle all of you, damn cowards."

Ryan, who would've loved to have this fight in a more private location, had to settle for watching this idiot get beaten on the school courts.

When they arrived, the area was deserted, and the light from the lamps illuminated the place well.

"You, record this." Ryan handed the camera to Demitri to film the fight.

"Is it necessary?"

"Of course. This bastard is going to get the beating of his life, and everyone needs to see it on social media," Max said, fully aware of the situation.

Impulsive fighters, drunkards facing much younger martial arts experts, bullies getting what they deserved—these kinds of fights were filmed and uploaded by Ryan's club, earning them admiration as the best at organizing local fights.

They added a certain degree of aggression to those who deserved it, and the world loved them for it.

Whether it was right or wrong, Max had fought many of these abusive fighters who went too far in street fights with people untrained in martial arts.

For that reason, he didn't hesitate to give Kyler what he deserved. Even after receiving a beating from him in the past, Kyler was still a complete idiot.

"Miguel, come here for a second." Max wanted to give Miguel some tips he might not know for a street fight.

Miguel, still a bit battered, walked over to Max, clearly angry. "Max, trust me, this time I'll take him down."

"I know you will, but listen to me for a second. That guy's going to try to take you down the first chance he gets, so aim for a front kick." Max showed him where and how hard he should strike.

Of course, there would be a certain degree of rules. If anyone went too far to the point where it could be considered a serious crime, they'd stop the fight.

That's why Max gave Miguel solid advice on how to fight using some Karate techniques.

"That's why I told you all to learn MMA first. Karate raises your fighting level, but it's not ideal for these situations," Ryan said, setting up the camera for Demitri to start recording.

"Ready?"

"Fight!"

...

Daniel, walking distractedly through the school hallways after that unfortunate confrontation with his daughter and her boyfriend, thought he had completely misunderstood their intentions.

If only he had been more patient, maybe his daughter wouldn't hate him now.

How had things changed so much? His sweet daughter had gone from loving him to not wanting him, her father, in her life.

"Things really do change overnight..." Daniel murmured. But at that moment, he saw the Cobra Kai group, dressed exactly like those who had tormented him in his youth, dragging his daughter's boyfriend, who looked terrified.

"No, things don't change; they just evolve."
