Basil Jaak took a cab to Riverside Villa No.7, and it was already past two in the morning.
Apart from the streetlights, it was pitch-dark; there were no pedestrians on the road, and rows of villas were all dark, with no sign of people.
Having found the location of Villa No.7, Basil Jaak did not knock on the door, nor did he announce his presence; instead, he cautiously looked around and, avoiding the surveillance outside the perimeter wall, climbed into the villa.
The villa was not large and had a garden-style structure—a two-story Western building with no front door on the ground floor. Basil Jaak easily entered into the lower hall from the garden.
Not right!
There was a killing intent!
As soon as he entered the lower hall, the keenly perceptive Basil Jaak immediately felt something was off—the intense killing intent surged towards him like an incoming tide!
Clang clang clang!
The lights inside the villa suddenly switched on, illuminating the entire building brightly.
