Dawn Sutton gently nudged Basil Jaak and complained softly, "Why are you so impulsive? We're originally in the right, but now that you've damaged someone's car, we are the ones at fault. How about we apologize, compensate a bit of money, and let the matter slide?"
Apologize?
Compensate?
Let the matter slide?
Is this Jaak's personality?
"Stay out of this. I'm the one who messed up, I'll take responsibility alone." Jaak waved his hand dismissively.
Dawn Sutton worried, "That car is worth more than a million. If he insists on compensation, what will you give him?"
"If I tell you to stay out of it, then just stay out of it." Jaak curtly waved off her concern and walked towards Zachary. He had already thought of a plan.
Though Zachary spoke brashly, he was actually faint of heart. Seeing Jaak approach, he quickly called out, "What... what are you doing? Everyone watch out: he destroyed the car and refuses to pay; now he's going to hurt someone!"
