Basil Jaak parked the car downstairs at Yetta Astir's apartment building, stopped, and turned to look at Yetta Astir, clearly signaling for her to get out of the car.
But Yetta Astir pretended not to understand and asked with feigned confusion, "Why did you stop? Drive the car inside!"
Basil Jaak rolled his eyes and bluntly said, "It's just a few steps away; you can walk in by yourself. I need to go back to sleep."
Looking at Basil Jaak, Yetta Astir suddenly uttered a sentence that nearly made Basil Jaak spit blood, "I'm afraid of the dark; I dare not go in alone."
"You were just the big sister who got chased by several people. Can you stop teasing me, please?" Basil Jaak said with a want-to-cry face, thinking to himself that if Yetta Astir was afraid of the dark, then he might as well say he was afraid of mice.
