Angelo pulled out his pocket watch to see it shattered and unfunctional "Right, I forgot to have this fix," Edward said as he put it back in his pocket and glanced at the train station clock.
Lula informs the three, "Alright, listen up, and our next train will arrive later, do your tree have any suggestions to do on this spare free time of ours?" Lula said as she glanced at the clock.
"First, we should take this stuff of ours to a storage locker over there," Hugo said as the four of them headed to the storekeeper and left their luggage in their own lockers.
As they left the train station, the newly fresh air greeted the four as they stepped out from the station.
After walking around the town, they step into a shopping district to find the place not really crowded, and a few-handed people come here to buy groceries and other aventail items.
The four came here for a reason.
As they continue to walk down, they then see a kid handing out newspapers; Angelo sees this and approaches the newspaper boy and buys one.
Angelo then reads the front article and picture of the tower still in construction; it is called "The Eifel tower." he says in a softer tone, and the tree comes toward Angelo and peaks out from behind to see what is the reading.
"Hey there, boy, can I ask you something?" Angelo calls out to the newspaper boy, "Yes sir, do you need something?" the boy says in a good accent.
"Whoa, I didn't know you have a good accent; anyways, do you know a place where they fix clocks?" He said the kid stood there and thought for a moment and then asked a nearby food vendor and asked him in French.
The kid returns and holds Angelo's back as the kid points out the direction, tells the four the path to the shop and says their thanks and move on.
"What a nice kid there, doing hard work," Angelo mumbles as the four of them counties to walk.
Inside the shop, they approach the counter to find a man in his 30s with a moustache on his face; he is wearing a white shirt, a collar, and a dark blue waistcoat.
"Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; what brings you four here?" The clocksmith said that the other three looked at the different types of clocks displayed on the walls and in the glasses. As if they were visiting a museum.
Edward approaches the clocksmith at the counter said, "Is this the clock store?"
"Yes, Monsieur, you have come to the right place," the clocksmith replied. Angelo then pulled out his shattered, broken pocket watch from his pocket and presented it to the man.
"Magnificent clock you got there, let me see; it's indeed broken and beyond repair, although."
The clocksmith said as he opened Angelo's pocket watch to find the missing piece that holds the clock together from working.
"Is it possible to be fixed?" Angelo asked, "Boy, the person you're looking at right now it's one of the best clock smiths in the town. Of course, this is an easy thing to fix." The clocksmith said.
"Alright, then you have to pay first, then I'll fix it if that is if you have the money, sir."
Angelo then begins to grab his wallet from his sling bag; he opens it, and he realizes something,
"I-Its gone? Where did it go?" Angelo mumbles as he panics to find his wallet in his sling bag, and this made and it hunt him to the very core,
"Is there something wrong?" Hugo asked as Angelo was about to leave the store.
"I take it back; the kid is the worst!"
=====
Hours before, the knock at the metallic door, slid open and came out an older man who wore a top hat and working-class clothes; the man saw the kid and gestured for him to come in.
Why is he going ahead inside? Angelo asked; as he cautiously approached the warehouse, he tried to make each step he made silent as much as possible without getting caught on the spot; Angelo then turned to the left to find a small door to entice inside.
The door cracked so Angelo could see what was happening inside.
