Nikolai

"Nikka, you must not let people get the better of you" Grandfather says and I scoffed chuckling, "why not?,it's all gone bad already hasn't it?" I ask looking out at the underwater creatures as they went by our submarine, "but there is still hope"he says "I know that,in which I have little right now"I answer looking at him, he shook his head in disappointment,"I don't believe that you've lost hope...... perhaps you should get some rest then",I didn't answer as he left me to go check on the crew.

I've spent so many years at sea, I've forgotten what it's like to breathe my own air or get some space, all these men do is take orders,bloody soldiers, where we are headed now?, I have no clue, I've been stuck on the fact that my parents want me to marry someone I do not love or wish to spend my life with, Grandfather on the other hand thinks I shouldn't think about it that much,he says there's hope of me finding someone who will save me from my life and take me somewhere new,I doubt there is someone like that left in the whole world, but I must have faith and trust this man, because he has brought me a far way, nothing my father could do. A jerk woke me up, there was red light everywhere,I got up and dressed quickly,my door opened,one of the soldiers running in, "what's happening?" I ask quickly "it appears we are under attack, the Captain requires your company",I left with him, everyone running and getting ready for war. "Grandfather,are we really going to fight underwater, remember what happened last time"I say "we have no choice Nikka". We were being attacked, but there was no one there.

We were all gonna die here. "You must leave now Nikka" "but where will I go?, we're at the bottom of the sea Grandfather"I was more scared for his life than mine. He brought me to another submarine,one much smaller than this one,he put me in, I looked at him with tears,I can't leave him, I grabbed his hand, "I'm not leaving you here"I say softly "we don't have much time love,you will be safe,I promise"he says hugging me, he put a necklace around my neck with a golden bull horn on it, "your father wanted you to have it"he whispered "but Grandfather-.....",he closed it, "no!,please don't do this!", they closed their doors then I went drifting off, he blew me a kiss before they blew up, I can't believe that he just died right there, smiling at me. I saw something coming towards me, a bubble I think, it hit my transport repeatedly until it was getting smaller and smaller,it was too small for me so I had to get out of it,when I did,I knew I couldn't hold my breath for too long and I couldn't see anything anymore,this can't be my last breath can it?.

I felt water being poured on my face,making me gasp then cough, "oh look,it's still breathing" a voice says,I opened my eyes then blinked a few times,I sat up then looked at the water, I touched the necklace to see if it was still there and it was,I sighed in relief, wait a minute...... I died, where the hell am I?. The shadows blocked the sun again and I looked up,seeing a man and a girl, "oi?"the girl says poking me with an arrow, I shoved at it then got up,only falling back on my knees, then everything just went black.

I woke up again,this time, by someone dragging me somewhere, before I knew it, I was kneeled before people,my eyes barely opened, my breathing was heavy and my heart was beating rapidly. "All rise for the King Midas, Queen Arabelle,his Royal Highness Prince Jason and her Royal Highness Princess Kira",did I just hear correctly, yup,I must be dead. My head was bowed because I was weak,my hands were chained and hell,I was thirsty.

"Who are you?" a man asked, I don't answer because I'm not even sure I can speak. Someone grabbed my hair, causing me to look up, "the King asked you a question!" I will ask again,who are you?" "N-Nikka,my name is Nikka"I answer immediately,sheesh. "Nikka?,and where are you from Nikka?" "Brittain", there were hushed questions,asking where Brittain was and if I was a trespasser. "We do not know of this place, therefore,you are lying and until you decide to tell us where you came from......take this trespasser to the cells",I again,fainted,there is definitely something wrong with me.

"Hey,hey you,get up"someone says shaking me continuously, I brushed the hair from my face then looked at the person,that girl who found me,"where am I?" I ask as she cleaned me up, "you don't know where you are?"she asks "no,the last thing I remember was the water,my Grandfather,attack",I was still weak but one slap across the face had me woken up instantly, "thank you"I say honestly "no problem love,what's your name again?" "Nikolai,Nikka for short" "well Nikka,welcome to Aquarius,and you're held prisoner until noon tomorrow",she got up and walked away, "wait......what happens at noon tomorrow?" I ask "you don't tell the King who you are, then you're dead"she says before finally leaving,am I not already dead. King?, Aquarius?, I'm either dead or dreaming. I had been changed into a dress that looked old but cute,it came over my knees, "you better get some sleep"a deep voice says from the dark,I look around but I'm only consumed by darkness, well, can't kill what's already dead.

"Wake up trespasser!"a shrilling voice says rattling some noisy keys,I groan sitting up, "it's time to face the royal family once more"the man says, I look up at the sun that's burning my face,he came in and grabbed me up,I was still weak so it was easy to get me up, imagine waking up somewhere that looks like way back in the days and you're a trespasser to the Royal family, call me crazy,but I'm starting to believe I'm somewhere that's not Brittain, nor anywhere I know, I just hope I'm not really gonna die.
