The last thing she wanted was to upset Cassidy any more than she already was. You know Aunt Sylveon now things make sense, said Cassidy. What is that Cassidy Sylvia replied? I mean with the way Dad didn't like it when Mom would pop in and out and went the way he was always overprotective and overbearing at times. Plus on the same day every year he would buy flowers and leave for half the day Cassidy said.
Show me responded with Jess I know about the flowers because I would go with him every year to the cemetery to visit your brother's grave I never asked him why you never came along. I thought either you had a lot to do or you just couldn't bring yourself to come with him. It never crossed my mind that you didn't know about him sweetheart and I am sorry that I never asked you about it. Cassidy was trying to be strong not crying but it was becoming so hard not to. Just thinking about what her mom and dad went through was just too much and finally the dam broke in the tears started falling.
Max wrapped his arms around her and held her tight Cassidy couldn't decide who she hurt more for. She felt loved and protected and Max's arms. Now she was starting to understand why her dad approached Max with the deal he did but she was also wishing that he had it. She was his only living child and he only wanted her to be happy. Sylvia was upset with herself for upsetting Cassidy. I am so sorry Cassidy and Max I didn't mean to upset you Sylvia replied. Cassidy sat up and saw her aunt was also upset so she got up and went and gave her a big hug.
It's okay I wasn't crying because you told me. I was crying because of what Mom and Dad went through. Being pregnant now myself I couldn't imagine what I would do if it happened to us. I'm grateful that you told me though. Is there anyway we can go tomorrow so I can finally meet my brother Cassidy asked? We sure can sweetheart you deserve to know where he is buried. Now I think it is time we eat some dinner. You're eating for three now all three of them started laughing as they stood up and headed out the door to go get dinner.
Around 3 on Monday Malcolm called Max and told him that it was safe to bring Cassidy home. Max contacted his guys to see if they were in place and they were. In the kitchen Cassidy and Sylvia were chatting. And Sylvia why don't you come back with us and stay for a little while Cassidy asked. Cassidy honey you're a newlywed you don't want me hanging around. At that moment Max had walked into the kitchen. He had heard what Sylvia had said Sylvia Cassidy is right next replied. Why don't you come back with us? Okay I'll come but only if you're sure Sylvia said. Cassidy and Max both said yes in unison and then Cassidy cell phone ring.
