I nodded looking down, my mind was blank. It was like he was talking and I heard him but I didn't understand anything.

"Acceptable", with that he got up and went away from me but stood near the bed, facing his back to me, that is when I sucked im a sharp breath because my tears were already on edge but no, not now, not in front of him.

I was still looking down and not at him, I just wanted to be alone and as far as I could be away from him. But he wasn't going, I was so busy with my thoughts that I didn't notice his close presence until I felt both of my hands free from the cuffs.

I was shocked as to why he did that but he cleared my confusion.
