Insanity

Opening his eyes rather quickly Azrael could only feel coldness.

Traveling around with his eyes he looked in his surroundings. It was the same spot he went out cold.

Trying to move he felt soreness and itching everywhere but it was no comparison to the agony he had gone through before.

Standing back up he moved his feet but instantly groaned and went back down to his knees, supporting himself on the wall horizontally.

"Okay...Easy does it..." His voice was now hoarse and dry.

He pushed himself up and forward again only to groan even more. The soreness responded with pain.

Azrarl became angry again and just shouted his lungs out. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Even entered a horse stance and not long after stomped forward.

His body screamed at him back with pain signals but it soon dulled with his anger overshadowing it.

"Good...Now how long was I out?" With a big vein at his head indicating his irritation, he got control of his body.

Looking around he found the knife lying there and the small crystal still at the place where it fell.

He moved over and picked up both, stashing the crystal in his backpack and looked at the knife.

The blood on it was still dripping.

'Only about a few minutes by the blood, huh.' He was lucky to not have been out too long or else he would have probably been eaten in his sleep or something.

So he sheathed the blade and carried it the same way as before.

When he then tried to look at the map he noticed it was drenched red and not readable any longer.

"Tsk." Azrael touched his backpack and noticed that it was still wet from his own blood.

"Now which fuckin way did I came from?", he asked himself in annoyance and just started to head one way.

But he did chose wrong and soon came to a clearing that was a larger cluster in the maze where many dark eyes and evil smiles were looking back at him.

Seeing the amount of Goblins in front of him his already concentrated anger became even stronger.

He cracked his fists and stomped right at them. "This time I wont underestimate you fuckers!" He really had learned his lesson and if not for his cheat he would already be dead.

So with his legs increasing his pace, he ran right at them.

The first two that were closest to him jumped straight at him.

But Azrael only caught both of them midair with a jump of his own and slammed them into the ground hard with their heads locked inside his hands.

His face distorted in pain and he could once more only grimace and grit his teeth. Every move and usage of gis strength brought him more agony back but he also didn't care.

He felt fury inside his heart. His heartbeat also increased through that anger.

Azrael could feel his wounds that had closed up somewhat leak blood again and dampen his clothes even more.

Because these two midgets were not dead yet he lifted their skulls and put even more power into slamming them even harder.

And because they were already mushed up before the skulls only went into an explosion of red gore, coloring himself in even more red.

The other Goblins saw that and hesitated for a split second but Azrael had none of that.

He charged straight at them and punched out. Each of his punches and kicks sent one of them flying towards the ground or walls.

And even after they got their courage back in attacking him they only ended up being smashed to smithereens.

Azrael also slowly got the hang of dodging their attacks. At first, he received their attacks with his body but later his body moved to only let them hit the air.

And he could feel it. His mind was absorbing the experience he was going through right now. He knew he could trust his body and instincts in a fight.

Every move the Goblins made became clearer to him and soon his own attacks became more precise and critical.

After only a few minutes passed and a massive amount of Goblin corpses lay around him did he finally stop and calm down.

Those hundreds of corpses slowly went into smoke and only left their crystals behind.

Where so many came from? Somehow they started to appear in this very exact room and seemed to pour out of the walls charging right at him.

But that also stopped at some point.

And as if the dungeon admitted defeat, another pathway slowly opened up itself at a wall.

Azrael looked towards the path and after collecting his many hundreds of spoils that were like stars on the ground he proceeded further.

His blood was boiling and telling to go further...and further...and further.

At some point, Azrael lost track of time and just went on a killing spree. Every monster that came across him died.

Even when his hunger returned, the only thing he did was rip apart body parts of monsters and eating them.

Even though monsters disappeared after death, that didn't mean they couldn't be eaten while still alive.

And with that Azrael became a ferocious beast himself going further into the dungeon with nearly no regard to anything.

Most Adventurer that saw him could only panic in fear. They described his body completely full of blood and his cold golden glare as chilling.

And those that did not fear him and saw his power named him a monster. Others gave him a nicer name after being saved - Crimson Asura.

For he only fought with his bare fists and slaughtered uncountable numbers of monsters.

It was even told that the person would never leave the dungeon and was living there. That last rumor was appearing because people didn't know his name nor did ever anyone saw him in Orario.

And they knew he was strong. But what they didn't know was that a certain event, later on, changed that all.
