Chasing my Luna

Scott Devlin, the bold Alpha of the Devlin clan was so disappointed at his adoptive parents to have him forced to marry a complete stranger, and above all professions, a doctor, whom he hates. He was reluctant to attend the wedding because he thinks the bride isn’t willing to marry him too. Besides, he is devoted in finding his Luna. His siblings managed to take him away so he can escape his fate since Scott can’t say no to their father. While Scott is enjoying his escapade in his friend’s private island, he noticed a faint fragrant scent that lured him towards the bar. His attention directed to a brunette woman wearing a red fitted maxi dress, with mesmerizing sapphire eyes. He can’t help but approach Diana who was sitting at the bar. “Finally, my Luna”, Scott whispered to himself. Little that he know, the Luna he imprinted on is not what she seems to be.

Two Alphas over One Luna

SCOTT POV

On the road with Lucas and Cory, we travelled fast and easy to where my heart belongs. With the car windows widely open, I threw the filter tip of my fifth cigarette as I light another. I can't wait to feel her back in my arms again. Whatever it takes, I will get Diana back even if I need to kill an Alpha wolf.

I left the town with so many direct orders. Most angered by my decision of leaving town when I am needed the most. However, I can't just give up Diana to Roman. I can't just let her go.

Roman.

I know it will be a good fight. One day or the other, the wolves will see a fierce battle of the century between two Alphas over one Luna - something inconceivable but still happened in the history of the wolf imprint.

For how much I badly want Diana, I know Roman equally have strong desires for her too. I fear that he might push himself on her, forcing Diana to own her heart and body. And for that, I will eternally regret why I agreed upon sending Diana to Roman. Running in four wheels, I asked Cory to drive as fast as he could hoping it's not too late.

A few more hours driving down the seemingly endless road, every corner of my mind was filled with random thoughts about my bothersome rival. I remembered the background check my company made on Roman Brooke. Then, my insecurities started to pile up having it known that Roman is one loved Alpha by his people, feared with his good fighting skills and adored with his compelling charm.

What if Diana deserves Roman more than me? What if she prefers an Alpha with less drama and less complications?

And what if.. I really turned into a monster.. would she still accept me? Would I still be worthy of Diana's love?

So many what ifs.. I've never been a man of doubts, but Roman is certainly not the type that I shouldn't take seriously. Underestimating an enemy would only bring jeopardy.

Losing the light and not losing hope to get Diana, I looked out the window and saw the sun have completely descended below the horizon as the roads were engulfed by darkness. We passed by a sign that says 'Black Creek Campsite'. We have finally arrived.

With only the light from the car headlights casting illumination, we opened up all our senses as we enter the campsite expecting the unexpected. The wolves of the Black Creek Clan are known to be fearfully loyal to Roman. The inarguable intention of our arrival may spark a scuffle against a town of wolves at Roman's command. Cautiously, we drove in with enough courage and positivity.

"It should be here somewhere", Cory said as he drive along the rough terrain.

"It better be", I mumbled.

A few minutes after, we can feel the ground thud and hear the music gradually increase in volume. Afterwards, we can see strings of light at a distance "There! Told you it's here", Cory exclaimed.

Seeing a bunch of campervans and trailer homes, I felt my elated heart leap out of my chest. One of those mobile homes have my Luna.

I then asked Cory to park the car in the middle of the road. "Block everyone who'll leave. And watch out for Diana. ", I said as I and Lucas get out of the car.

Lucas and I went down of the car as we head onto the campsite. The sounds are more audible, causing my ear to ring. Walking in between mobile homes, I tried so hard to sense Diana's scent.

"How can they even talk with each other this kind of loud sounds??", Lucas shouted with his hands covering his ears.

I just smiled and walked on. As we pass by, the wolves of the Black Creek Clan seemed not to be bothered about our presence. They just went on with whatever they are doing.

A little later, there's a trailer home which I thought looked familiar. Where have I seen this before?

When I was about to open the door, someone from

behind blurted out. "The Luna is not here", he said.

"Where is she?", I replied as I turn around. I saw Gunner standing right in front of us.

"She already left with Alpha Roman" Gunner said not moving an inch.

"Where did they go?", I asked.

"You know I can't tell ya", Gunner replied.

"She's my Luna, I'm getting her no matter what", I said as I darken my eyes.

"Not anymore", Gunner said with a smirk.
