Chapter 123 Joye Is Still Alive

At the Richard family's old mansion.

Baird's eyes were fixed on the television and even his breathing became light. After the broadcast was over, he asked the servants to go back and read the news again. Only then did he confirm that what he saw was true.

"Joye... Joye is still alive!"

He got up from the sofa, trembling. Due to the excitement, his face was suffused with red. His whole body wobbled but he could not contain  the jubilant smile on his face.

"Dad, be careful."

Maisie quickly stood up and supported the old man's arm in case he fell onto the ground due to excitement.

"I told you that God isn't that foolish to let Joye die. She's finally back!"

For the past five years, if it was not to wait for her and her child's safe return, he might have died long ago!

"Dad, you're so excited for her to come back, but I'm not sure whether she'll appreciate it or not. And that child, Yvon admitted that it was him and Joye's child."
