Ch 23: Assimilation and Enlightenment

He didn't know why he suddenly had this thought and he didn't have the time to think of that as his body started retaliating against the golden skeleton, this lead to him experiencing the worst pain he had felt in his life.

His body was fighting with the golden skeleton and that was damaging not only his bodies internal situation, but also his muscles and skin as well. He felt his muscles tear and his skin showed cracks throughout. The clash between the two lasted for only a hour, but this hour was the longest hour of yang feng's life. He endured the pain for the whole hour while grinding his teeth.

He laid there for 3 more hours during which he felt a stream of energy coursing through his body which was healing his body at a really fast pace. he checked his internal situation and was shocked to see that all the damage he felt was already healed. But the more shocking thing was the condition of his bones.

He felt that his bones were not replaced by the golden skeleton, but his own bones had turned golden. 'it looks like the golden skeleton was not able to replace my bones but instead got absorbed by them, turning my bones golden.'

As yang feng thought of this, although he was happy that his body was able to overpower a skeleton of a saint king, he was also sad because he wanted the demonic nature of the skeleton. When his thoughts reached here, it suddenly came to a halt and he wondered, 'could it be...?'.

He then concentrated on his bones to see if there is any demon Qi remants in them and what he saw made him really excited. His body not only absorbed the quality of the skeleton but also it's nature was assimilated in them.

That means that his body could hold demon Qi without harming him, which it could do even without the golden skeleton but he didn't knew that.

As he was imagining the next step he should take, he felt a sudden surge of Qi heading from his bones towards his dantian. This Qi was different from his usual Qi, it had a certain corrosion to it and gave of a cold feeling, not the type of cold that emits from ice, but a sinister type of cold.

As he continued to refine that surge Qi his cultivation continued to increase. It took him a week to fully refine and compress the Qi. During the process he noticed that his Qi was turning into a higher form but the process was not so fast.

The process began when he had reached the peak of 9th Stage S&R realm, but as he continued to compress his Qi, the process took him some time. When the process had begun he knew that his yuan Qi was changing into true Qi. During the process he also started to absorb the 3rd layer of the 'Foundation Rejuvenation Nirvana Pill' to increase further fortify his foundation as he had done with the previous two realms.

After a week had passed, yang feng slowly opened his eyes and felt the changes in his body. His yuan Qi was already a lot stronger than an average cultivators true Qi, so when he changed his Qi into true Qi it had become a lot more robust. He made a blade on one of his fingers, the blade was a lot more solid and looked more durable than he had seen from anyone in true element realm.

Even his father's Qi weapons were not this solid, though not too far apart, and he was at 3rd stage immortal ascension realm. He then saw his fleshy body's inner situation. All of his body was refined to the Initial Element Realm because of the previous battle between his body and the golden skeleton, except for his bones.

His bones were even more refined and powerful than his other body parts. This gve him an idea about how to further refine his body.

As he was looking through his situation, he saw something that caught his attention. The Qi in his body was different. He looked at his Qi in his dantian and saw that it was also a bit different than it was before, and this was not the change of his yuan Qi into True Qi.

The Qi in his dantian now had an attribute, while the Qi in his body was similar to the demonic Qi he had absorbed before but just like his 'dantian Qi' there was also another attribute contained in it. This attribute was a little weird, it was .... chaotic.

Thinking of why this happened, though he already had an Inkling of what had happened, he turned towards his Qi cultivation scripture. After going through it, his suspension was proven right and solved some of his questions, but not all.

The scripture stated that once his Qi undergoes a transformation, it will slowly turn into 'Celestial Chaos Qi' with each transformation and will be fully transformated when he reaches the emperor realm. this answered the change in his Qi stored into his dantian. His Qi just went through an evolution and it's properties have started to change into 'Celestial Chaos Qi'

His Demonic Qi on the other hand, it seems to have also gone through a change with his yuan Qi changing Into true Qi. It now also had a chaotic rhythm to it.

'From the looks of it, all types of my Qi's will have a chaotic attribute to it, if not because of my Qi scripture then because of my physique.' yang feng thought. 'Although I have a physique of Chaos attribute, Cultivate a Chaos Qi method, and use a Chaos Body Refining Method, I don't really know what Chaos really is and from the way things are going I will definitely have Chaos as my dao. But what is Chaos?'

Yang feng continued his contemplating and went through all the knowledge he had on 'Chaos', he went through what he remembered of his previous life, what he read, what he thought and what he experienced during his physique's first awakening.

After he opened his eyes, there was a certain clarity to them. He felt that he could control his Qi and body better than before, his mind much more clear than before and that he felt a certain connection to the chaotic rhythm of his Qi somewhat. He knew that he just experienced an enlightenment.

'Chaos is the Beginning and the End, It (reality) all started with the appearance of the first ever Chaos, The Primal Chaos.

This Primal Chaos was then divided into two parts the Primal Yang and Primal Yin. The Primal Chaos also created the concepts of Life/Creation, Death/Destruction, Space&Time and Fate to bring ORDER to the DISORDER in the reality.

Both Primal Yin and Primal Yang then divided their powers into Five Elements and created the entire Outer Universe. which has continued to evolve to this day.'

Although he still had many questions that were unanswered, he decided that he will learn about all those answers as he increased his cultivation.

After he digested all the information he thought about the condition of his Demonic Qi,'Hmm this is not simple Demonic Qi now, with the assimilation of Chaos Qi into it it is more like a demonic version of Chaos Qi.... Hmm, I'll call it 'Abyssal Chaos Qi'.'
