Walking up the stairs was a beautiful lady Emma Winston was going up to her boyfriend's apartment to surprise him.she's been busy for some months now and finally she got a day off

Walking to the door she unlocked it using her key,as she walked into the house she saw his clothes everywhere she shook her head and picked up the clothes then proceeded to the bedroom to keep them

When she got to the bedroom door she heard some noises,peeking into the bedroom she saw her boyfriend doing a rigorous workout with a girl as she looked closer she found out that the girl was actually her best friend

Angrily she walked into the room and yanked them apart slapping her best friend's face screaming

"After everything I did for you,is this how you repay me.why?!!"

"Ah ah I finally don't need to pretend in front of you anymore"her best friend mia said

"What"Emma was surprised

"Yes I've always liked Julian but he chose me over you I thought it was okay since you're my friend but what did you do? You focused on your job and left him all alone I had to help take care of him"

Emma was about to hit Mia again when Julian held her and slapped her

"Julian"she couldn't believe it was this the understanding,caring boyfriend she had she worked hard to help him fulfill his role as the Ceo of Brainshark industries

She had completely lost it she wanted to surprise him but she got the surprise of a lifetime. She smiled

She started walking when she felt a tug on her arm turning around she faced the cheating couple a scum and a bitch what a perfect match how blind was she not to notice it all the extra attention the way they looked at each other was nothing like how friends should gaze at each other

She looked at Julian and her smile grow wider

"If I can raise the company I can also destroy it let's she what the world will say about a ceo who sleeps with his girlfriend's best friend while the girlfriend is working her ass off to help him in his career"

Not giving them the chance to say anything she ran off as her tears flowed freely down her cheek .Just as she reached the stairs someone gripped her hand

"Emma am warning you"There was a warning in his voice but Emma was way past the point of caring

"Do your worst"Emma spat on his face she continued to struggle but Julian's grip was firm

Angry at being held against her will she bit him but she never expected him to push her in a bid to free himself from her

She fell down the stairs hitting her head on the tiles in the process as blood spilled out her vision darkness and she lost consciousness

When she opened her eyes everything was white

"Where am I"

"Hello human"she heard a voice and looked up she saw a very handsome man words cannot describe how handsome the man on white was

"Are you an angel am i in heaven"

"No you're in a time space and I am a system you can call me little nine"

Stunned she looked around again before asking

"Why am I hear am I not dead"

Little nine could clearly hear the disappointment in her voice

"You died with regrets so you cannot cross over yet till you completely let go of your regrets and I'm here to help with that"

"Just sign this contract then leave the rest to me"

Just then a contract appeared in front of her as she was about to read it

"Don't read you have five seconds to sign the contract else you'll remain here and wait for another system"

Quickly she just signed her name and the contract disappeared

Emma frowned feeling cheated already and the system noticed it but before she said anything the system quickly said
