Lori hadn’t been the only woman attending the auto care class where she met Jack and Brandt;a total of five students eventually showed up.Besides herself and the two teenage girls,there was another teen—this one dressed in all black with goth makeup and a perpetual scowl—and a woman old enough to be Lori’s grandma.Though she’d already managed to snag a free beer afterwards with the two teachers,Lori still wanted to impress them,and intended to shine as the star pupil in what little time they had together while class was in session.
It turned out impressing them wasn’t hard to do.In fact,of the five students who signed up,she was the only one who actually participated.
