Heartbreaks

The hall in which the party was being held was big. It was part of Savage home. He smiled when he saw the people were coming. The party has begun. But just one person he was waiting for. The master of the party.

Kenzo Brennon.

Then he saw his father coming in.

"Mr. Brennon! What a great honor of seeing you again. You did honor my invite."

"Why are you here, why did you come back. You should have died."

"Come hug me, I know you miss me. I missed you so much too. My good old friend."

"To hell with you."

"Same with you."

Chief Brennon forced a smile. When he saw people staring at them.

"I was wondering what your son would put up tonight. You should be curious too. Cause there"re gonna be blood."

"I can see that. Your blood is gonna be spilling."

He shoved him aside and walked into the party hall with his wife. He knew Savage was up to something. And he was part of his target. He wasn"t as strong as he use to, never was he as smart as he used to be. Everything has changed now. Savage thinks he could outsmart Kenzo, he doesn"t know anything. Just watch and see how he would be mocked in his party. Stupid old monkey.

Savage groaned inwardly.

Annoying bastard!

He was gonna end the old man soon. He would put a bullet to his damn skull. But nothing hurts more than seeing your child die in front of you. And that"s just what he"s gonna do.

Kill Kenzo in front of him. And everyone would see that.

"You"ll go in first, Take Zara with you."

"I thought I was going with you."

"That"s the plan, Zara. She told you didn"t she?"

She rolled her eyes.

"I couldn"t understand the thing she blabbed about."

"Just go with Aziel, that"s all you"ve to do."

She nods obediently. Linked her hands with Aziel.

"We just had to confuse them a little and buy me enough time to find Savage. He has Sally in hostage."

"I should come."

"You can"t come. Just stay at the party and have fun. Keep it going. Once the light went out. I"ll join you. Go!"

"Wait, I"ve got a little confession to make."

Kenzo glare at her.

"My hands kinda slip, and I shot Sambas. He"s was so stubborn. You should send Ezra to go check upon them."

"You little brat!"

"He was gonna ruin the plan."

Arg!

He wanted to strangle her.

"What about her. Did you hurt her as well?"

"I didn"t.." she rolled her eyes at him. Tugging Aziel hands so they could leave. Kenzo's gaze was burning so hard on them.

They walked into the party.

And Kenzo took the other way. With three of his men.

He didn"t search for long. When he saw him going upstairs. He was able to know he was savage. Since he was talking to Hazard. Probably planning his dead.

Nothing hurt your enemy more than surprising them.

"Here I"m. Come get me."

They spin around. Seeing the smirking face of Kenzo staring at them.

"I"m here. Ain"t you looking for me." He chuckled at their stunt look. Then they both looked everywhere. Probably searching for their guards.

"Oh! They are underneath the stairs. I didn"t want the guest to see them. It would look so good you know."

"How??" Hazard slurred.

Savage looked more surprised, then he began running upstairs. Kenzo followed quietly counting his steps.

Getting closer to Hazard, who remained rooted on spot. He stopped walking when he was close enough to him. He smirked.

"You"re dying if you keep standing there. Run!"

Hazard didn"t bother running down the stairs because Kenzo men were there, so he jumped down, falling on the ground, where the party was being held.

Savage bolted the door of this office. Thinking Kenzo won"t get in.

"What do you mean she"s gone?"

The next thing he heard was a gunshot.

"Hello?"

"They"re here.."

"Hello. "

Another gunshot came in, not from the phone call but from outside his office and his door flung open.

"What are you doing?" He tried to maintain his voice. But he couldn"t, his other hand rummaging his drawers, searching for his gun.

"What do you think you"re gonna do, kill me. No way. I"ve nine life. One is gone. Remaining eight."

"Just wait and see."

"Ain"t gonna see anything."

"Til she"s dead. They will call you so."

Just then his phone began ringing.

Aziel.

"Aziel What"s wrong?"

"Zara was shot!"

He heard lord Gilbert's faint cry.

"Zara! My dear."

Shit!

He cussed.

Elina was the target. She would have been the one shot.

"I was gonna kill you but I don"t think I could do that anymore someone else would. You should go back to where you belong, this place ain"t for you."

The light in the hall went out. Just like Kenzo had said. Zara was still in his hands. He didn"t know where the bullet came from. Immediately she had stepped in. It went to her. At her lower abdomen, she walked into a trap set for Elina.

Just after she was shot. He felt a bullet pierce into his arms.

What was this?

This was the plan they had.

When the light came up again. Kenzo was beside him.

"I"m late."

"It"s fine."

"C"mon I"ll help you up."

"What Hazard?"

"I couldn"t kill him just yet. He"s my competitor for the election remember."

He helps Aziel up his feet. Lord Gilbert was still crying over his daughter.

"We should take her to a hospital."

"Don"t you dare touch her, you cause this?"

"Look up."

He ordered.

Lord Gilbert looked. And saw everyone's attention was on the chandelier.

Hanging on the chandelier was Savaged. He has stripped off his clothes. And over his head was written.

"Welcome to the Party!"

He would have laughed if not for the fact that his daughter's life was in danger.

"He"s all yours. The decision you"re gonna make. Whether you save him or tell kill. I know you"ve got a gun with you. C"mon Aziel!"

He squat and took Zara in his hands.

Why was a part of him grateful, that it wasn"t Elina that got shot.

"All I want from you is to tell me that it"s all a lie and that you love me! Just tell me you love me! And non of these is true!" She cried hitting his chest.

"I don"t love, I never did love you. You only had a good body to fuck that"s why I stayed and fucked You."

"No, I don"t believe that! Then why do you look always look at me like that? Kiss me every morning. Why do you act that way, why!" She cried harder.

"You"re stupid, only a fool would love someone like you. I don"t see why you would think I love you. I did that so you would open up to me. I never loved you, Elina. Never would."

"You bastard!" She faced the wall, wiping her face with her palm.

"So you"re gonna marry her, you know all this while and you didn"t bother telling me. You lead me on."

"I didn"t want it to end so soon."

Yes! That was true.

He didn"t want her leaving him very quickly. So he didn"t want her to know. And he had her phone seized, she couldn"t call or use the internet. And gave her a new one. Which is just for calls. He did that, so she won"t leave him then.

"I so fucking hate you!" She spat out.

"I know. She"s moving in here, she gonna stay and next week is the wedding, you could co..."

she didn"t know when her hands went up to his face and slaps him. He looked shocked, she was shocked as well. That she was able to hit him.

Kenzo clamped his lips shut. Said nothing else and waited for her to speak. She sniffed.

"So why? Why did you do this to me? Why didn"t just let me be? Why did you fuck me!"

"You throw yourself on me. You begged me. You never knew you were that cheap. I had to give you what you want. You didn"t expect me to say no, did you?"

"Asshole!" She pushed him aside.

"Did I tell you I love you, did I say it out loud, you look pitiable, that"s why I was that way to you. Who would love someone like you."

She halted.

"Elina, you"re no different from Sara or Zara. You"re just like other girls I"ve fucked. You ain"t even worth my attention."

That hits her.

She wasn"t worth it. The tears were pouring again. She thought she was never gonna get hurt, but she was wrong nothing hurts more than being hurt by someone who knew your pains and your weakness.

"I was so stupid. Can I have my phone back?"

He took it out from his pocket and hurled it on the bed. She sniffed again. And took it, stuffing it in her jean pocket.

She was certain, Love wasn"t for her, anyone she end up loving, always end up hurting her this way.

"Get out of the mansion, I don"t wanna see you again. Anywhere near the mansion or anywhere near me. You"ll get killed. Consider yourself lucky for not being killed. This is my honest offer. Get the fuck out of here this instance!"

This was the man she once knew, hard and monster-like. This was the Kenzo she met, months ago. And he was back. The monster Kenzo, where was the sweet one.

Doubt, it was all a facade to satisfy his needs.

Asshole!

"You can take anything you want. I"ll have Aziel send you any amount of money you need.."

"50 billion. And I need it to now."

"What?"

"For my time here. For fucking You. I need 50 billion. For everything, I"ve felt in here. The hurts, the torture, and the tears and heartbreak."

He chuckled.

"You"re a sly one ain"t you."

"I don"t have that. A million would do."

She eyed him with so much hatred.

"I don"t need you, money bastard!" She snarled.

"Go fuck yourself."

She walked past him, after taking his car key that was in his hands. The new limousine, he bought. Which he had taken to the party last night. Since he came back alive she was sure he won the game. And there was no need asking, though at the back of her mind she was worried last night when their car was taken by his supposed wife to be and strip her off her clothes. Leaving her in just her undies. Sambas was shot because of her. Grateful, it was on his shoulders. She didn"t want him to get hurt more than he was. She had to do what they ask.

Zara, Kama is real!

She clutched her fist any time she thought about it.

"Elina!" He marched down after her. She was running outside. Open the car and got in.

"You can"t drive."

"I can."

"Open the door!" He ordered.

"Open the gate."

"Don"t you dare!"

"Fine!" She ignite it and began driving, towards the gate that was shut. She doesn"t care she was gonna drive out, with the car, even if the gate was shut.

She bashed the gate with the car.

Kenzo stood watching her. She drove back again, driving towards the spot Kenzo was standing, he ran back. Running into the mansion.

She smirked.

He should have stayed and watched how she"s gonna brush him with the car.

"Crazy bitch!" He yelled.

"Asshole!" She yelled back. And marched the accelerator. The gateman ducked out of sight as the car was coming again.

She hit the gate and it opened. The limo was destroyed at the front. She didn"t mind. She drove out. Giving them a middle finger.

"I"ll come back for you bitch! Argh!" He yelled. He was out now. Standing at the gate and was watching her. As she drove crazily.

"You better don"t kill yourself!" He warns.

She gave him a middle finger.

And she was gone!

He didn"t see her again.

He sat down on the ground. With his hands clasped on his head.

"Boss," Aziel called. Squatting down beside him.

"She"s gone." He replied.
